I've run into a kind of Catch-22 I'm hoping you all could shed some light on. There have been several occasions in the last month where I hit it off really well with a girl, even to the point where we're making out and she's explicitly telling me I'm hot/funny/etc. We text a bit back and forth, and she says she's down for a date, but as soon as I start suggesting the time and place, transportation logistics, those kind of things, I get ghosted.

While it's possible that these girls simply didn't want to go on the date in the first place, I think it's likely that I ran afoul of the common pitfall of giving too much of a fuck and lowering my perceived value or whatever. The problem is, I'm a very logistics-oriented person, and even in my normal group of friends I'm always the one planning this stuff. I know if no one else does, shit won't actually happen. I feel it's highly unlikely that the average woman I'm talking to will take these steps, so I would think the responsibility lies with me.

How do you all deal with the specifics of date planning while still maintaining an image of indifference? These two approaches simply seem mutually exclusive to me, though I'm admittedly very new to the pickup game.
