Ever since I am born my whole life has been a sausage fest.
Everyone in my family is a male except my mother.
My primary and secondary school are church all-boys schools.
I sat in science stream classes, mostly boys.
I studied a STEM degree in college, mostly boys.
I worked in a STEM job, mostly boys.
I joined foreign language, D&D, tabletop, jogging, movies, sci fi groups, etc that I can find on meetup, eventbrite, etc....you guessed it. Mostly boys.
Now I am in a coding school. Yep, you are absolutely right. In spite of the numerous initiatives to get more girls to sign up for software engineering training, only less than 10 percent of my school students are female.
Everywhere I see, girls are so few and far between. Any girl who is even just slightly above ugly instantly gets a guy tailing and following them non-stop.
Not only competition is extremely stiff, but girls are just spoiled for choice, only going for the lone Chad in any social group I've been with, then get alpha widowed, then gather a whole orbit of friendzoned tampons, then find another lone Chad, get alpha widowed again, etc.
I just find that in sausage fest environments the only way to win is to be INSANELY attractive, way more than a girl's base attractiveness level, and even that attraction is fickle and fleeting because a Chad can always be ousted by another Chad inevitably due to the huge numbers of men in a girl's typical environment.
Sorry for the rant...but here I am opting for a new strategy for a change. I decided to be a part of hobby groups that I am genuinely interested in...but ALSO filled mostly with girls, like ballroom dance, yoga, tabata, HIIT, etc.
It's a different universe altogether for me. Girls there are super approachable to talk to, and girls always outnumber guys, and they tend to be more attractive than average, and best of all, there are tons of opportunities to meet in person weekly thus eliminating a dependency on using apps and online chat.
There are still rare sights of hot girls here and there at my coding school, but I am strongly holding my frame and refraining from tailing them even though I see some guys instantly doing that. I refuse to put myself in a position of scarcity. It had never worked my whole life before, and I think it won't work even if I keep trying.
So here I am with my new strategy, get good for my own sake, but also at the same time, earn adoration and respect from the girls in my group, befriend them, do NOT chase them, but focus on having a huge number of hot female friends, and let them hint on their own that they want to be more than friends and dance partners with me.
Is this a good strategy, or one bound to fail? Also if the guys here can share some tips on warm approaching and social circle game, it'll be great. Thanks for your tips fellow dudes.
(Also sorry if I picked the wrong flair for this post.)
