I never jumped on the Instagram train. Actively reducing my social media usage to a minimum, for the sake of productivity. However, it seems numbers aren't easily given these days, often replaced by IG.

I want to start using IG, but from what I understand, privacy settings aren't that great. Anyone with the Internet can see who you follow, and who follows you.

  • How do you not have girls you just met quickly checking your follows/followers, and then ghosting you because you have so many girls?
  • Or girls who know each other talking to each other (small city)?
  • And, especially avoiding crazies you broke things off with following people who follow you, and then sending them DMs, making false accusations about you?

What is the best way to make IG work for you, and mitigating pitfalls like these above?
