I saw guys saying that game = flirting. That when you break down the stuff pickup coaches teach (breaking rapport, teasing, push-pull, intent etc) it's all essentially just flirting (and that flirting with an unattracted girl is just unwanted attention)

Someone else said that good game is about showing confidence. That confidence is what 'game' is. (Todd V also said that game = applied confidence)

But them does confidence = attraction?

I ask because this morning i was watching infield reels, and what kept happening was that the pickup guy would open, run the stuff the books say to do (tease her, calling her 'trouble', disqualifying her for being trouble, pushpull lines and cold assumptiions about her etc etc) and her reaction after a while and where he tried to escalate to something romantic, was to tell him that she was impressed at how confident he was and that she liked his confidence, but that he wasn't her type and that she wasn't interested and it ended in rejections. Despite the apparent confidence he demonstrated.

And it reminded me of my old boss at work who was a ridiculously confident man. And even though he wasn't exactly an incel, i'd see him get turned down by pretty young girls (he went for much younger girls) SO much.
