What the hell are you talking about? The friendzone happens when there is a friendship between two people and one person has an unreciprocated romantic or sexual interest in the other. So there is such thing as the friendzone.

It’s not a difficult thing to understand. It’s not rocket science or quantum mechanics. You want to fuck your hot friend. She doesn’t want to fuck you and doesn’t see you as a potential lover, she just sees you as a friend. Thus you are in the friendzone.

And once you are in the friendzone it is very difficult to get out of and many guys waste shit tons of time trying to convince the girl and it usually ends in failure

It’s simple to understand, you act like a friend and for too long, hiding your intentions, the girl gets used to seeing you as just a friend, she has no desire at all, the last thing in her brain is wanting to fuck you, because it’s like you are a brother to her because of how close you are and how much trusts she has in you. So when you tell her you actually want more than just platonic friendship she gets confused and also betrayed because she thought you just want friendship and starts to doubt if you were just being a friend to try to get in her pants.

All of that would be avoided if men just stop trying to befriend women and just were honest with their intentions from day one and asks them out and try to be sexual early on.

But nope, that is too risky for them, so they prefer going the friends route first and then the friendzone just keeps happening over and over and continue the fake friendship hoping she will eventually change her mind. And that isn’t something that usually happens because there simply is no sexual tension, and she is never even considering you at all as an option.

And even if she did, she would not be able to make herself feel aroused around you so she just can’t feel attracted to you even if she tries because you don’t make her feel any sexual and romantic tension at all.

You keep giving her the feeling of a close sibling, you are not acting like a lover, you are acting like the best gay friend a girl could ever dream of or the brother she wishes she could have. You are being sexually repressed never wanting to treat her like a woman you want to fuck and always treating her like a sister that you love so much in a brotherly way not a sexual and romantic way.

Basically no man to woman vibe, acting like she is your buddy.

For me, and I believe for most other guys(?), there's no such thing as a friendzone. If she's hot enough, you'd do her.

There clearly is such a thing for guys because if she wasn't hot you wouldn't do her so you'd friend zone her.

This is effectively what's happening when women do the same to you, you're not hot enough! But it's not just that you're not physically hot enough but also your behaviour isn't hot enough.

Act like an attractive man and if she finds you physically attractive enough and she's available you won't get friend zoned.

I have many female friends who would receive very high ratings on the pictures, if they were foolish enough to post them somewhere. I do not want to sleep with (almost) any of them. I’m just not that attracted to them, though we’re good friends so I suppose we could have a good compassionate relationship. Depends on whether you're in a relationship or not, no? For example, I would have crushes to my attractive female friends and sometimes I would act on these urges and flirt with them occasionally when I was single. Some of these even resulted in fwb situationships. Rn, I have a ltr gf. I still find my attractive friends attractive. I just keep my primitive reptilian brain in check and keep the flirting/teasing to a minimum. I try to be a good bf and also a fun friend.

Wow, there are so many commenters in this thread who didn't get that you were asking about men putting women in the friend zone.

When you're swapping men and women, the same concept typically needs to be translated to match the other's experience. The best translation for the "friend zone" is the "fuck zone", which is when a woman is having sex with a guy and he has zero intention of committing to her or being monogamous.

And I'm pretty sure women understand that frustration, despite having little empathy for men in the "friend zone"

The reason why there’s no friendzone for guys like me is that I wouldn’t be friends with a bunch of women that aren’t sleeping with me. I’ll talk to them if I’m out or socialize with em but wouldn’t say that I’m friends with them like one of their girl friends. Most of the time there’s sexual attraction anyway. A woman wouldn’t suddenly start being the boss of me and tell me we’re friends. There’s no friendship unless both people agree they’re friends.
