Ah, to be 19 again. There was a time when I wore a younger man's pants where I was concerned with looks: where I wanted the perfect ten with pert C-cups and a trim waistline. Then, as I got older and had sex with enough of those girls, I gradually began to realize that my interest for the hot-yet-cadaverous-in-bed girls had waned, and that I'd trade all of those carbon copy pieces of eye candy for one chubby single mother who does ass-to-mouth.

Try changing your pictures, a good way to do it is making the first picture one with one or two bros (where you can see the faces clearly), this will prompt a girl to look at your other pictures to figure out which one of the two or three people you are. Now the floor is yours, since they tapped to see your pictures they're going to look at all of them. For the second picture use one of just yourself (avoid pictures with sunglasses/anything blocking your face). If you have a picture with a cute puppy put that in. Likewise if you have a picture with a girl who is a 7 or 8 it'll alert other girls that you have high standards, but use a picture where it's evident you and the girl are friends ie she shouldn't be hanging all over you. The fourth picture is your call, but it's good to use a picture that expresses one your interests that will serve as a good topic of conversation. Some good ones are school gear (if you go to a university) a party setting, mountain climbing, skydiving, etc but make sure YOU are the focus of the picture. Avoid band pictures, blurry pictures and family pictures (sometimes girls like it but usually not). Also try to not have under 4 pictures, even if you have 3 it will make them think you are not confident enough to be in pictures. This is my general guideline, best of luck!

LOL Ive had tinder for like 2 weeks and have swiped probably 200 + hot girls. Havent gotten one match yet, guess Im uglier than I thought....

edit: I just went back on Tinder and the first girl who came up I swiped right and we were matched. She messaged me a winky face. Prolly a decent 6, so, eh I guess I should just lower my standards a bit more

I'm a Tinder addict. I also have almost 200 matches. What people don't really understand about tinder is that most girls treat it like a game and see how many matches they can get for their own personal validation. This means a few things.

The quality of girls are going to be higher than your average online dating type because the girls on there aren't desperate for love. I swipe/match with hot chicks ALL the time.
Because they treat it like a game, a lot of the hottest ones aren't really good with a direct/compliment opener. A lot of them, if they respond at all, are more into looking for a person that's interesting to talk to on top of being good looking, since IRL they can find attractive guys no problem.
If a girl messages you first, she wants to bang. 11/13 girls that have messaged me first (which isn't a big number of girls messaging first, since I have almost 200 matches total) I've had sex with without even trying. If she messages you first, you're just in a position of "don't fuck it up" and you'll get with her no problem.

Also, this is coming from a college student, so if you're older/younger then I can't really speak about that. Generally as a 20 year old guy I put the age limit from 18-23 and a 15 mile radius and I never have problem getting matches.

Well my experience with tinder is, you need to let your profile simmer. Give it at least a solid week. Not everyone is using tinder like they use facebook. They download it, go on it hour by hour and then get bored when they dont get results instantly. They then go back to it and start flipping through pictures. And when they click on you and like it, its your turn to try and seduce them into actually meeting up with you.

BTW the okcupid phone app has a locals function that works like tinder.

also, the chicks who opened me on tinder were mostly hijacked profile spambots.

the chick who asked how big my dick was on tindr was a dude (there was a girl in the pic with him). when i asked him why he doesnt use grindr he said he isnt gay.

i went back to okc. its worth it to spend 20 minutes sending a brief message to 10 girls- just ask some questions about their profile. if they have a dog they cant resist answering about him. if they respond but dont ask followup questions i usually dont even try again- im looking for more interest up front.

I can honestly say I downloaded this app, met up with a girl had my way and that was that. Try and look for intent. Some people aren't as serious as others. It's pretty cool none the less. If you feel weird about it, ask for their snapchat or something. Those are ways to get real time pictures of you're weary.

I had tinder for a while and hardly got any matches. Somebody posted on here once that they only had one picture and very little information on their profile and they ended up getting way more matches. I chose one picture of me hanging out with some friends and got rid of the rest of them. Just yesterday I got 6 matches. I think it helps to have a little mystery.

Sounds like way too much emotional investment if your are praying for girls to match. Do yourself a favor and swipe em all right and don't look. From reading what you wrote, you have no business in getting emotionally invested in girls you will never meet. In all truth, if you want to be a pua you have to learn to have little to no emotional investment in girls that you do meet, and sleep with. Not until you wife one of them

I was talking to a female friend today about Tinder. She was telling me how every single guy she swipes is an instant match. When I log in to Tinder, I get a few "instant matches," but then no more.

It's a numbers game. Like as many as possible so you can get into their line up. Filter them later.
There's a block feature if you get unwanted matches
Open Tinder in different locations. Sometimes you will be in an area where not too many guys are on Tinder and you'll be at the top of some girl's lineup

I live in an area that has several major cities within 100m. When i'm home, I can literally swipe for close to an hour nonstop without running out. I do this here and there every day and I get 20-30 matches per day.

I'm relatively good looking. But tinder is the lowest common denominator of interaction and for most people it's a competition to see who can take it less seriously. So don't bug either way.

The only thing it really shows is how attractive you are, objectively. If you get no matches, you need to fix something. Hygiene, style, fitness, etc.

I always respond back to those "Hey cutie" messages, most of the time they're bots. Actually from what I remember all the time they were bots for me. Girls don't open much for me and when they do I ignore the boring ones. I respond to the girls who open and actually say something about my profile. I usually don't respond to "hey" unless I find them attractive, if they're somewhat decent and is creative it does make me want to talk to them a bit though. IMO I'd say people's expectations goes up a lot on tinder, a 5-6/10 girl might think she's an 8-9. The 8 or 9s most likely get a match every time they swipe right so they have a lot more to choose from. I read somewhere that a girl who wasn't even attractive and probably wouldn't get many guys hitting on her in real life get thousands of matches.

Just keep swiping right and you'll eventually get a few that do look cute and attractive. I'd say every 100 girls I get 20 who are someone I'd like to talk to. I'll tell you what, having good pictures set you up for better opportunities, no selfies though! Just like in real life, it's a numbers game.

ya, they're lonely and trying to get laid. listen kid, the wait is going to be brutal but make sure ur picture will attract the kind of girl you want to attract. keep on liking the girls that u find attractive. nothing meaningful can develop if you dont find eachother mutually attractive. keep at it and something will come up, but make sure you're setting yourself up to attract a girl you're going to find attractive and DONT SETTLE.
