Wow, I'm new to the whole PUA scene, but posts like these make me really intruiged about it all. As mentioned, this is very counter to the usual Seddit value-giving philosophy I have seen, however, call me gullible or wet-behind-the-ears, but the honesty and candour with which this guy talks about his techniques are breathtaking to a n00b like me. Always incredibly interesting to see the different types of game out there, though maybe this just hows how much I have yet to learn.

I realize that this comment will likely get a lot of hate, given the circumstances of this thread. When that's all said and done though, I feel I must speak my mind.

It scares the everloving shit out of me that there are people out there who function like this. I'm not saying that it's necessarily a bad thing, and I do agree that this kind of reality can easily suck other people in. My problem with it is that it is, as you yourself put it, really fucking assholish. Doing whatever you must, be it boyfriend-destroying or general manipulation, in order to get something as trivial as sex? I can't help but to think it both selfish and sociopathic, and I don't see how it can be beneficial in the long run at all. Plus, if you've ever had a girl cheat on you, you know how badly it sucks - especially if you really love her.

Also, let's face it. With the nature of this post, I'm bound to be bombarded with a bunch of "Well, let the girl choose! If she's willing to cheat on her boyfriend, then [insert rationalization here]". Yes, of course. Definitely. That does not change the fact that you're still toying with other people's emotions and mental stability. If not the girl's, then her boyfriend's (and yes, I am focusing a lot on the whole boyfriend aspect. You don't have to be Freud to figure out why).

To be completely honest here, I wouldn't say I've never considered game like this. Heck, my entire introduction to game was through the promise of a lot of vagina and a general abundance of basically everything everybody else is searching for. It just quickly occured to me, after hanging out with guys like this, that my personal preference tells me to pick quality over quantity. I'd rather be honest with myself and who I am, and then have a bit of a weaker game and get fewer women, than be the asshole who can get any one night stand that he wants. Why? Because that's exactly what it is. A one-night stand. It means absolutely nothing, except it's great for feeding your ego. If you want a release that means nothing, why not just go home and jack off for a few hours? That way, the only person whose feelings you're putting in danger is yourself.

I know you said that the white knights and the goody-two shoes should stay out. I refuse. Understand that while I am butthurt, I'm not butthurt enough to make it impair my judgement. I'm not here with the sole purpose of badmouthing this kind of game. I'm here to make my own personal opinion public. I realize that what I have written is likely a cluttered mess. This is likely because I'm writing this at 2 AM on a weeknight, with a couple of beers in the tank, and I'm too lazy to proof read.

TL;DR: In my own personal experience, this type of game leads to nothing other than a bloated ego and sociopathic tendencies. While it may work, you have to be really certain it's your style, because it will turn you into the single lowest form of scumbag on the earth.

Really really great with something else here on /r/seduction.

Big props for the stones to write this. I have been doing this some times over the last few years. And it works, specially with certain types of women. (The brats, and the cocky ones who think they are the center of everything).

But this is not for the beginners, it's hard to pull of, and hard to switch of.

Good post detailing certain aspects.

I personally tie aspects of my game with machiaveelianism. Mainly I find it that it stimulates women emotionally. Although, I wouldn't be outright lying I do things that have polarizing effects.

The thing about this sub, people don't respect these things for it being "game"

You make it sound like "the rest of seddit" are only made up of nice guys who's game consists of meditating and giving girl's compliments. All of what you discuss here is either bad for your game (having or showing traits of psychological unwellness, being truly unconfident at your core) or it's already discussed a lot here. Machiavellianism for example, Julien from RSD often talks about "the emotional rollercoaster" and giving girls that "full range of emotion" whether it means they cry over you or they're completely surrendering to your love. Chicks are addicted to all emotions you give them when they are attracted to you. Nothing new there. Being very dominant and ignoring the girl's input is the same as staying true to your life's purpose and having self-trust. It's in The way of the superior man by David Deida already.

These Dark Triad traits sound cool to a newbie, but if you do the "seddit advice" well, you will already come off as a confident bad boy who only needs himself in life. It is not about becoming a super nice guy who will buy girl's flowers and wait 5 months until they have sex.

1 - "game" is a bad moniker for this "social philosophy", because calling it a game implies that's competitive, manipulative, based around ulterior motives, etc. People call it game because games are emotionally stimulating and sometimes high-risk; so is, like, war.

2 - what it's really supposed to be about is legitimate, earnest self-development and having it carry over to success with the opposite sex. Being who you are, whatever that best version of yourself is supposed to be.
