A common excuse I hear among people is, "I don't have anyone to go to the bars with.." or, "My friends don't want to."

Last night I went out alone, and met some really cool people - guys and girls alike. As it turned out, an acquaintance showed up for her birthday party. She also came with a lot of hot friends.

I approached them and almost all of them asked, "Who are you here with?" or, "Who did you come here with?" I simply told them, "Me, myself, and I." For some reason, they loved this. Most lit up and either said, "I like your style," or, "Whoa, that's awesome."

It shows that you don't need other people to dictate when you can and when you cannot go out and have fun, and that shows confidence.

Maybe I'm preaching to the choir here, but when I started going out, I never went out alone. Now it's one of my favorite things to do.
