Lately I have noticed something girls do.

They project what we as males do as if something they would do. Yes that is confusing. Let me give an example.

This girl is coming to visit in a couple weeks. I randomly mention some ideas throughout our conversations and she said that she feels I am putting high standards on her. I ask her what she means. She said that she feels that I am planning a huge weekend of her doing all kinds of things she is unsure of her being able to do but she will try.

The thing is that I was mentioning ideas. Not plans. Then I started thinking. Women tend to mention ideas and then when we say things like, "yea that sounds like it would be fun" or "yea that is sexy" they take it as if we actually want those things to come into fruition. So when us guys say things as ideas they take it the same way as they would mean it.

That also got me thinking. We men say things as WE mean them but women take things as THEY would take them.

So I will be paying attention to this because it means that there is a HUGE communication flaw between our genders in terms of intentions.
