I see alot of men saying how “just be yourself” is bad advice. I even saw one guy say somewhere how when he is “just being himself” he is annoying, broing etc...

“Just be yourself” DOES NOT MEAN DONT DON’T IMPROVE ON YOUR SELF.

All of us have wrinkles in our personalities that need ironing out.

What “just be yourself” means is to own your flaws. That doesnt mean you shouldnt work on fixing them. If you are a gamer, own it, if you love flowers, own it and dont crumble and cave in to her.

You must work on your flaws so that you can be your best self. SELF IMPROVEMENT.

P.S I hope I was clear, I am bad at explaining stuff but I hope it gets the message across. If you guys dont get it I will try to explain it simpler hahah.

TL;DR: “Just be yourself” means own your flaws with confidence. But you must work on fixing those flaws to be YOUR BEST SELF.

EDIT: I see many people dont understand what being yourself means and I dont have the mental capacity to explain it.
