What are we going to discuss is when to speak and to keep speaking, and when to shut the fuck up

When things are going bad, most guys start getting in their head and the natural instinct is to prevent further damage so you just shut up

On the other hand when guys see that things are going well, they just keep talking and talking and talking

And to keep talking when a set is going well is not really a bad thing. However, there is more power in shutting up during those instances

Here is the rule of thumb in talking...

If things are going well and you can get away with shutting up; consider shutting up

If things aren’t going well or the set isn’t going in a certain direction; tend to lean towards talking a bit more and doing what you need to

The idea of this concept is to understand that if you’re in a winning position, don’t fuck with it a lot and let the girl do some work

If you’re not in a winning position, bad shit is going to end up happening so you better do something

The general rule that this relates to in game is if there’s two paths to a destination, the path that is the LEAST energy or effort from you is the highest value path

It’s the least needy, least try hard, most natural path to get from point A to point B

Let’s say you walk up and talk to a girl and it’s not going well. What is the natural response a lot of guys have?

If things weren’t going well and you shutup, it’s pretty likely things won’t continue to go well so it’s a lose-lose situation for you

Sadly I have no idea what going well or going bad is so I usually just end up mixing everything up. I feel all my encounters don’t fall into either category and they just are right in the middle.
