Would you cold approach if dating apps were working out for you?

I’m literally in this situation right now.

I can get about date a week from dating apps but the quality isn’t high enough. I will get an 8/9 every now and then on the apps but I want to aim higher

Going to transition off the apps and learn to get back in the game in real life, it’s humbling already

I see your pov. But dating apps don’t help with in person. Presence, charm, and etc. you need to actually talk to women in real life to build that skill. Everything will always circle back to in person. You can’t avoid it.

Don’t look at it like a chore you gotta do. If you love talking to people, just cold approach them even tho you also have some lined up from OLD.

At the end of the day, it’s all about numbers. The more women you expose yourself to, the higher the odds are that you’ll find one that you click with well enough to date. So if you believe in cold approaching, and online dating also works, then why not do both? Although if online dating works for you, then also doing cold approaching might be a little redundant and unnecessary. It comes down to how many women can you juggle really.

Yes, dating apps worked for me, but i always kept that feeling that i was cheating and not actually fixing my obstacles and fears to approach women and basically go for what i want in life without shortcuts. You can cheat the system but you cant cheat yourself.

Idk, in the end, you still meet in person. Cold approaching has worked for thousands of years, so thats the default. It is hard to who's interested though, but got to talk to everyone.

Back when I was younger I tried to force myself into day gaming and cold approaching and it worked a bit but my text game after was awful too. Overall I was insecure I'd say and I really pushed myself into doing those things that did not come natural to me.

What worked best for me was working on myself (gym and diet does wonders for your self confidence and image) and I always had moderate sucess on dating apps so I've been lucky in a sense. But yeah, I really like dating apps personally

Absolutely. I don’t know what you mean by cold approach, exactly, but I talk to unknown women all the time. What’s great about it is that you very quickly get an excellent sense of your baseline chemistry. Then you can quickly see how you connect, wherever she’s open to your playfulness, how she expresses herself erotically. That’s in about 5 minutes. And, you know what, the vast majority of the time it’s just not a good match. Which is fine, because you spend between 5 seconds and 5 minutes figuring that out.

In apps, you spend all this time desiring pictures and chatting, and if the date ever comes, you’re in exactly the same place as if you were just starting to talk to her. No idea about chemistry or vibe or humor or smell or the way she holds herself or her erotic charge or really her interests, etc.

So much easier and lower pressure just talking to women in real life.

Plus, most good women aren’t on the apps. They’re literally waiting for guys who are bold enough to actually talk to them. Be that guy!

Def can tell the difference in age with this post. Cold approaching can be daunting but helps you get comfortable in the long run.

Yes, I was getting dates like crazy from Hinge, but it started to feel really cynical. I completely lost all excitement for first dates with someone I met online, and I started to get the impression the women felt the same way, they seemed to think less of our connection since it started online.

I deleted the apps about 4 months ago and I'm trying to learn how to approach women more in person. I've had some good convos but no dates yet, kind of hard to stay the path lol considering how much easier it would be to go back to apps

Dating apps are working for me, and I rarely cold approach anymore. Just if I see approach signals or someone displaying high approachability.
