And he prepared for it😶.
He heard his wife going into labor pains and thought, let me pack my gaming computer🙄

Ew lol 🤢🤮
I would be so upset if I would be about to push a whole ass baby and he’s there playing games.

I’ve heard of Labor & Delivery units disallowing gaming consoles to be brought in by visitors, including the father.
Their rational is that the TV is there for the patient, not the visitors. So when someone else plugs in a gaming console, it monopolizes the TV and prevents the patient from using it for their own comfort/entertainment.
It doesn’t prevent scrotes from using their laptop for gaming, but at least it recognizes that gaming robs the mother and infant from the attention that they need.

Imagine that. Gaming addiction is such a big problem, hospitals had to take the step to ban game consoles from delivery rooms.
Scrotes will disagree, because scrotes.

I agree that this could certainly be indicative of a bigger problem or an addiction. But, I will just say that I’ve had two babies and the time between the epidural and starting to push was extremely boring. I napped during most of it. My then husband was so tightly wound in the delivery room that I wish he had brought something to distract himself with. We had to wait about 12 hours before pushing.

I dunno…I’d be so embarrassed if I had to manage my husband’s boredom for him like he was an angsty 9 year old.
“I know you’re bored, sweetie, but just sit there and play your video games. Mommy needs to give birth now.”
If he’s wound up while she’s napping, he could read a book, watch the news, or go to the lobby to call their eager family and give them updates on her progress. There are so many things he could do to demonstrate maturity and a readiness for fatherhood, but playing video games while she’s in labor ain’t it.

I don't think its a bad idea to bring something to pass the idle time. But men always choose the games you can't pause. And you know he's the type of scrote to prioritize his game over his wife. "Wait babe I know you're pushing but I'm in the middle of a match".

But no, pregnancy is 50/50 and men have it just as bad as women during these rough times. But if he doesn’t feel connected to the child, then you should step up and do all the childcare, chores, bills etc. while he relaxes. What? He’s going to a rough time, you need to be there for him. What could possibly be worse than this that you have gone through?-an actual aita(Or relationshipadvice, I don’t really remember that much.) post with these types of comments.
Oh, but if the wife is suffering from postpartum depression or extreme trauma to her body-some cases even ptsd and her appearance becomes ‘unattractive’ after delivering the baby you probably pressured her into, she still has to pay the bills 50/50, do all the chores, childcare, and still have sex while her body heals. Female ‘Gold diggers’ are unacceptable but you should take on 2 jobs to give him the ps5 that he wants even though he can earn his own money to buy it.

This would have been my future in a nutshell had I not dumped my exes and potentials. Thanks for the reminder!
Can you imagine going through contractions, pushing, and asking your husband for your support only for him to say in the next round honey. I’d chuck a bedpan at his head. 😝

Can you imagine being faced with such a monumental new beginning in your life and still being interested in video games? What is wrong with these people? I also played computer games as a kid but quickly lost interest in my teens as I started working and gained responsibilities. How can they just waste hours on these games that are clearly designed to grab and hold the attention of kids? How mentally childish are they?

Hope she's texting about how she's about to divorce/break up with him as soon as the child is born and she can secure a place to go to like her parents.
