I should add that the quote attributed to Gillian Anderson is actually from the character played by Gillian Anderson in the popular serial killer miniseries "The Fall," which millions of teenage girls are devouring as we speak. The actor who plays the serial killer will also star as the billionaire in the film adaptation of "50 shades of grey."

After attempting to rape the Anderson character, a repentant man asks,

“Why are women emotionally and spiritually so much stronger than men?” [seriously, this is the actual dialogue]

“Because the basic human form is female. Maleness is a kind of birth defect.”

This is quite similar to a passage in the SCUM manifesto by the beloved feminist icon Valerie Solanos:

"The male is a biological accident: the Y (male) gene is an incomplete X (female) gene, that is, it has an incomplete set of chromosomes. In other words, the male is an incomplete female, a walking abortion, aborted at the gene stage. All feminists feel strong and empowered, until they run into an MGTOW. Then it's all peter pan men, and men needing to grow up in order to fulfill their gender roles.

She can smash the patriarchy all day, still won't get mandatory paid paternity leave, still won't get more women into STEM, and still won't stop the rise of single moms. As far as I care, these "strong, educated and empowered" womyn can pay the taxes required to support the single moms. I'll keep playing video games and not giving a fuck.

On a more serious note…the overarching point is that that conversation should be happening between women, and men should listen to it and follow whatever outcomes women decide.

The entitlement is strong with her. This is someone who clearly has never had to be accountable for any of her actions. Once she gets out into the real world (if ever) and actually has to work with men, she will find that acting like a princess isn't the most effective way to get along with others.

This is what a feminist looks like.

If the feminists that say it's horrible other feminists are misandrous really disagreed with those women, they would pull those "radicals" out of power, not put them in in the first place, or leave the movement for a movement that actually strives for equality. That they don't is telling.

I go to Sheffield Uni. This is not a massive surprise. I remember making an effort to get involved with a music society when I first joined, but decided against when I found out it was basically run in conjunction with the feminist society, for some reason. It's an odd mixture of sad and amusing that this union president can't see how she isn't a feminist at all but simply a pure man hater. All she does is celebrate men not having a voice and as far as her saying she's glad the union is a "misandrist bubble" - she's literally celebrating the hatred of men.

Maybe having been raised to know they will not be struck physically has bled over into them thinking they can say whatever they want and there will not be any political or social blowback. I can only wonder if they so deeply feel that they don't matter that they feel they can say the most offensive things, take the most arrogant stands and that it won't matter either.
