The general concensus of TRP seems to be that if a guy is successful with women, he is either a Dark Triad/Alpha male, highly attractive or socially/financially successful.

On the face of it it makes sense because men who possess (one, some or all of) those traits are, as a general rule, wildly successful with women. However, it stops making sense once one takes into account the number of guys who aren't like that, yet are still successful with women.

All this seems to suggest that there are a disproportionate number of men - especially young men - who are "left out" completely. This stance is further solidified by the constant reference to the 80/20 dynamic, AWALT, etc. Which, again, appears to imply there are a large majority of men who are completely shut out of the sexual marketplace.

And yet, how does TRP account for the millions upon millions of guys who aren't buff, rich, big swinging Alpha dicks yet still succeed in the sexual marketplace? I'm talking about average guys who are able to secure mates (long or short term) with some regularity.

In my experience, the kinds guys who are woefully unsuccessful with women to the point of years or life-long involuntary celibacy are in a minority and generally tend to have one or more other issues that prevent them from being a viable romantic candidate rather than simply not being Chad Thundercock.

Or is TRP's only measure of success being able to get laid by an endless stream of faceless women with the snap of a finger (which is rare as an American Bald Eagle IME)?
