Is being nice equal being weak?

Depends what you define by being nice.

I think it has more to do with the intent behind your actions.

When you do something, are you doing it because its "the nice thing to do". Or is it for a legit reason?

Also, some people think if they are nice, then the other person owes them. This is a covert contract, the world does not operate on these.

Well you all define nice as just being a doormat and an asshole as just having confidence and boundaries. So maybe change that view.

Its completely different things.

Weak is being a push over, not having boundaries allowing people use you and walk over you.

Nice (actually nice, not like niiiice guys) is having moral principals and standards which you follow, be kind, try to make world a better place. It doesn't mean that you have to tolerate when people disturb your boundaries.

Your appearance has a big impact on how people perceive you and judge you based on your behavior.

For instance if a big guy with a masculine looking face is nice he may be perceived very differently compared to a guy who isn't big and has a soft looking face.

The former guy probably would have to behave much more like a doormat before he was perceived to be weak compared to the soft looking guy.

Not fair, but we all know this is true in life for everyone.

How are you defining nice? Me holding open a door for you? Calling you back on a business related incident rather than skipping out early from work?

Giving you my french fries if I'm done with them or don't want them?

Nice doesn't hurt anything. Being a simp hurts you. Being submissive hurts you. Letting people walk all over you hurts you.

Accepting a bad business deal hurts you.

But being nice or polite doesn't hurt you at all. Only inc*ls think treating someone like utter shit has a long term pay out.

When people say "nice guys finish last" what that really means is, "pussy worshipping simps with bruised egos with delusions of grandeur finish last".

That's not nice. That's cringe. Me calling you an Uber so you don't drive home drunk isn't a "simp" operation.

The answer is no. The opossite of weakness is strenght, not a bad behaviour

If you are weak, behaving like an asshole won't make you look strong, that's a shortcut to get your ass beaten horribly, in fact.

If you are strong acting nice won't make you look weak instead, becouse people recognize a strong man when they see it. Those who mistake a "peaceful" man for an innofensive one are usually idiots, and they deserve a lesson, but they are a tinny minority.

I never fight, avoid problems and try to not argue with people usually. But when confronted, I just put my "Look, I'm serious" face and just say something like "you don't want to do this so just drop it". People always back off.

Kinda, yeah. People pleasers are less likely to start confrontations when confrontations are sometimes necessary, or even when they're not - but women fucking get wet seeing men flare up, display their force projection, etc. You need some aggression in there. You don't have to be some roid-rage ridiculous asshole about it, but you do need to be ready and willing to start a confrontation when either a.) you are confronted, or b.) someone does something to someone else that calls for someone to speak up.

Be shocked that women expect men to do these fairly difficult social escalations, and will judge negatively men who don't perform to their standards.
