Had to take my minions to the water park today. Fun was had. It was an incredibly busy day. Kids, teenagers, 20'somethings, 30'somethings, older people, etc...there were probably 300-400 people scattered across this water park. I have taken good care of myself, especially for a man in his 30's with a couple of kids. Out of being there for probably 2-3 hours, I observed probably only 2-3 women that I thought were even remotely attractive and/or had decent bodies. The rest were either way to fucking skinny, quite fat, or had the odd shaped 'mommy' bodies where they either had let themselves go, or simply haven't gotten far enough in their progress to really yield any major results. I won't knock a woman's figure, because I am sure there are plenty of guys in this group who are trying to better themselves and know they aren't where they want to be in looks or physically fit.

Now, aside from seeing barely any females who even tickled my fancy (even if I was single...I would barely give any of them a second look), probably 85% of the guys looked like shit. Of the 15% that did not, they weren't built or showing muscle definition, just looked pretty decent. I am not as cut as I want to be, but I have broad shoulders, my abs are visible somewhat, I have been told I have real nice arms/biceps, and I look strong even for being lean. Think a Zac Efron type build, slightly bulkier. I saw a handful of guys who I would put in my category or even better...couple pretty big guys stood out.

My point is, I stood out..even a father of a couple kids...I stood out and through my sun glasses I caught glances, whether it was from the young 20 something year olds, the single moms, or even wives of other men. Nothing was blatant, but I could easily tell people noticed. Hell, if I were to go single at some point, I really struggle to envision being with a woman my age or slightly older unless they simply looked much younger then their age and have a nice body to boot.

Guys, I know it is common sense, but work out, get strong, get lean/cut...you WANT to stand out. Yes, it is a fucking ego boost. I have busted my ass in the gym to get to a point where I can feel this way in a venue like this...where I used to be the skinny fat guy who looked avg and wouldn't have gotten a second look. I saw SO MANY fucking WALL women there, MOST of them actually. I felt like they were eyeballing me thinking "Damn I wish I could get him...look at him, and he even has a couple of kids...goddamnit". Were they? Probably not..but that plays through my egotistical head :) I have gained secret pride knowing I have busted my ass and can stand out from other guys in terms of physical appearance.

It gives me even MORE motivation to hit the gym even harder, continue with my goals, get more lean and more cut. Make yourself stand out, that is how you get noticed, period.

I know what I am saying is common sense, but as someone who is still choking on TRP (it's a jagged little fucker isn't it?) it really perks up my ego to be in a place like that and being able to lift my head high thinking "yea, look at me fuckers...I have worked hard".

I am in the midwest, so results may vary ;) I would probably look like the skinny fat shit in LA or something at a water park or pool party where every guy is a Calvin Klein underwear model..but in the midwest, I am in the top 3-5% in terms of physique, at least where I live.
