What are you looking for in a Tinder member, a fulltime LTR leading to marriage?

MOST of my best plates have been single Moms. If you choose carefully and set up the relationship correctly, these are the ones that will spin on cruise control the longest, with minimal out-of-bed effort.

If you're young, inexperienced, lack strong frame, are prone to oneitis, then you do NOT want to dabble in single moms.

For experienced men of abundance looking for part-time long-term plates, single moms are the most eager 90% of the pool.

ETA: Writing that you won't date single moms in your profile will probably work against you, the same way that a tall man thinks twice about dating a short woman who bluntly refuses to date short guys. Work it in to the early getting to know each other messages; a casual, "Do you have kids? I don't." This does the job without putting off prospects before first contact. In my experience, most will mention kids in their profile anyway.

Good for you for avoiding single Mothers. The one you met probably either has horrible taste in men (her bad boy Ex ditched her) or she cheated on him or gave him some reason to bolt. I wouldn't straight out ask. Just make the assumption that 1/2 or more of the women on tinder are single moms. It's the same as adding 20 pounds to what you think they weigh, or deducting 20% off the bat from their looks on their picture. It's OK to plate them or for a ONS. Just realize they are not LTR material. Besides, single moms give the best head.

You have no idea how relevant this is to me right now. Was supposed to see a new chick off tinder (only saw her 1 hour last week for coffee), and 2 hours before meetup time she drops the bombshell "I'm a single mum".

I said I'd sit on that info for a few days and come up with a decision. I'm sitting on a 4 month dry streak (broke up with 2 year LTR. Been on dates but nothing beyond car handjob) and she is objectively a 5, so my gut is telling me to run, and my dick to stay.

To be honest I'm leaning towards the "keep lifting and let the results attract higher quality women" line of thought. I'll put myself out here and say my n-count (sex) is sitting at 1 (due to LTR), so I'm conflicted between breaking the streak and experiencing more sex vs running for the hills.

I've only used Tinder since my divorce and my profile gives no hint that I have children. My position is that I'm on Tinder for my short term benefit and not looking for a stepmother for my children. If they ask whether I have children I'm always honest that I do and this has cost me some dates. Depending on the girl, I might offer that info myself prior to the date and others I'll tell while on the first date. I don't see anything wrong with what she did. What matters is whether it's a deal killer for you and how you handle it once you find out. This is also why you should never plan something expensive for a first date.

I would say that if you're looking for something long term from Tinder, then yes, you should ask EVERY one of your Tinder matches that you are planning to go on a date with if they have children.

EDIT: after reading your comments that you are looking for a LTR, I'm going to say that her lack of disclosure about her kids is no different than your lack of disclosure that you want a LTR. If she just wants a fuck buddy, then she might not have ever wanted a date with you because you're looking for something long term.

This is the reason you go on dates, to find out about each other. You each have something that might be important to you but not the other person. It sounds like you're quick to start thinking about a future with someone before you ever meet them. I would say that you still have some work to do on yourself if her disclosure affected you as much as it seems that it did.

Something like 75% of the women on Tinder, OkC, and POF in my area are single mothers. 60% of those are at least 20-40 lbs overweight.

Dude, single moms are the best. More often than not they have a "don't need a father for them, they already have one" mentality, and depending on how you play it, you can easily keep it them as a plate as a result of their situation. They absolutely crave that sexual attention.

It's why when you see them going out with their girlfriends when they have a baby sitter they are some of the sluttiest/most seductively dressed women out there. They may still want a LTR/husband again one day, but for the moment, they just want to feel wanted.
