Yes, i've tried everything, i guess. I went to college, i play sports, i have a job. I'm trying so hard to be a "normal" person, and i interact with people on a daily basis. I feel like i'm ready for a relationship, i feel it's what's lacking for me, i know it. I want to share, i want someone to go along with, to be intimate with. I want to open myself and i really think i'm ready.

The problem is that i'm not a looker. I'm short (5'6'') and i'm average-faced, at best. Add to it being ethnic. I simply don't stand out, and if i try hard to, i'll come out as creepy and cringe. I chose to stay away from this embarrassment. I admit i don't even know how start, but it doesn't matter, in the end, because i don't have a chance to start, anyway. Never in my life anyone complimented me other than on professional, intellectual matters, let alone flirted with me. I can conclude i'm a sexless beta male, fitting in my role as a beta supporting NPC.

I don't hate anyone, but my situation makes me really, really bitter. About myself, i guess? I can't help but to feel some bitterness and jealousy of men who can court and date women. Not in a violent way, but it makes me feel emasculated and sorry about myself.

I'll add that i've never asked a girl out, because i've never had the chance, and mainly because i know i'm already virtually rejected due to my looks, so why even bother?

I simply want an advice on how to move on.
