One thing I learned from my days doing the whole pick up thing is that if you convince a girl that you will back off if she says so she'll feel comfortable going home with you. She may be horny but she's worried you'll do something creepy when you're alone together. If you put her mind at ease it makes things easy. This is a great way to prove it to her indirectly.

I agree, plus it also is sort of that push/pull, hot/cold mentality. I call it the "cat string theory" (I probably heard it called that before, but can't remember a source) I can totally see how it keeps her guessing, and women love to be in that sort of WTF state of mind. It also gives them the perception that they are chasing, which is a huge power shift. And it is different, and probably unlike anything that any guy has ever done before

If they back away or want to slow down you back right off. This makes them feel like they are in control of the situation and you have self control. Don't apologise, just stop and relax for a bit. The ladies are just trying to avoid giving signals to a guy who will lead them to one of those unpleasant moments where they aren't horny enough to take it to the next level but the guy is. You get in some kino and if they are not into it, you leave them alone for a little while and act disinterested and then come back and say hi and if they are receptive you pick up where you left off. This avoids the little "this is going to fast" danger signal in the back of the lass's brain. Anyway, that's not really doctrinaire game but it worked for me.

I've had the best luck in picking girls who I had noticed were into one of my friends, or a buddy in my social circle. Then either directly approach them about that, or use your insight more subtly. Believe it or not, direct approach tends to work a lot better for me. "You seem like a cool chic, and that you'd be fun to hang out with. Tell ya what, I'll help you out with (*insert name here) if you'll be my wingman saturday night. Bring as many girlfriends as you want". Then just make sure she has fun and doesn't feel left out, ever.
If you really work on this and can figure out what works for you, it will pay off 10 fold. There is nothing like watching your social status skyrocket as you enter a bar with 4 or 5 pretty girls. Make sure you crack a joke as you make your entrance, so everyone sees that all their attention is on you, and your shit is golden for the rest of the night.

I have a question. I was the shit at my old school but I transfered to a new one (sophmore) and I'm having a harder time making friends, this school is larger. I joined a frat but it's kind of cliquey and I don't get invited to parties (or have as many friends) nearly as much as I used to. I'm thinking about joining clubs next semester (thought the frat would be enough...) what else should I do to expand my circle? The building I live in nobody keeps their doors open and chills unlike other dorms so it's reaaaaly hard to make friends on my floor.
