You can meet women anywhere. The place doesn't matter - as long as she's there. So a place with many single women in it is helpful. That is typically parties, nightclubs, and bars.

I'm pretty close in age to OP, 34, and my preferred age range is +/- 5 years of my age with my current girlfriend being 31. In your 30s, I'd highly recommend shared interest meetup groups and social circle game. Befriend many new people, including women, and they can introduce you to their single female friends. I find this to be a far easier transition to dating than cold approach, though cold approach obviously will give you a much greater pool to work with. I no longer use OLD, either.
