1) Get right in their face; don't do it from far away, from the side, from behind, etc. 2) Give a real, genuine compliment, 3) Give the vibe that you are on the move and will keep walking if they don't show interest.

Having the attitude of "I'm going to cold approach till I get a girlfriend" is poison. It makes you need and outcome dependent. You should not "want" anything. Just talk to people and have fun.
/r/seduction13/08/26 04:35 PM
3

You don't need a "day game partner." Wing men don't help. Also, you and some rando from teh internet probably will not vibe. Just do it yourself.

Thats the part that i cant get over. I want someone to want me first. Is that a big ask? yes, you sound like a whiny bitch. Be a fucking man and approach. You have to take the lead and be confident.

Women rarely give you "looks." You can't wait for an invitation; you need to go approach them.

"Scripts" don't get people laid. You need to learn game the hard way - by going out and practicing. I offer coaching, but you need to focus more on action than reading or coaching.

You should not be thinking about yourself; your weaknesses, your insecurities, your traits, anything. You should only think about the woman and how much fun you are having.
/r/seduction11/08/26 01:11 AM
2

There is an exception to every rule, but generally speaking talking to girls for 10 minutes isn't going to get you laid. I fucked a girl I met at the Citgo gas pump, that doesn't mean you should hang around gas pumps trying to meet girls.

That's a stupid, boring date. Where do you guys come up with this shit? You should invite women to do things that are fun, exciting, and weird.
/r/seduction09/08/26 01:30 AM

Dude, you should not be hitting on women at your job sites. That's creepy and can get you in trouble for sexual harassment. The only time it is ever appropriate to hit on a woman in any professional function is if she shows an extreme amount of interest so that it is obvious she wants to hang out with you. And even then you need to be careful. You also fucked up on asking her out. You should just invite her something at a time or place. But again, you should not have been hitting on this girl in…

Yes, if you're not talking to a girl for at least 30 minutes she is likely to forget you even existed. Hot girls get approached by like 10 guys a day and give their number to anybody who asks, so why would she remember you? If you are saying you are only talking to her for 10 minutes and she doesn't even feel a strong connection, there is a 0% chance she will remember you, much less get up and put her pants on to come meet you. I normally try to keep the girls around for at least an hour and go …
/r/seduction09/08/26 01:25 AM

How long are you talking to her? If its not at least 30 minutes, she is likely to flake because she hasn't emotionally invested enough in you yet.

Yes, but you shouldn't worry about whether you think women are interested. You need to approach them anyway. They will let you know if they are not.

Dude, I can already tell you will creepy because you wrote "I really crave female touch and connection." And the fact that you are throwing a giant house party just to get laid means you are definitely going to be creepy. Women need to feel like you have so many options that you don't need anything. Women must be the pursuers, not you.

Why do you need another man to push to you to approach? What are you scared will happen if you get rejected? A lot of guys are more scared to approach when there is another guy watching them.

No it can't. Wingmen are bad. But keep thinking what you want to think, you don't need my validation.

You're a 21 year old that only recently became old enough to go to a bar. I'm double your age, have coached guys for years, and have approached thousands of women. I'm telling you that wingmen don't help. You are saying you think wingmen are a good idea because you just THINK it would be a good thing. I've actually been doing this. Gaming alone is a lot more effective. But do what you want.

Getting phone numbers is a waste of time and a shitty metric. Women give their numbers out to anybody. The hard part is actually getting the woman to care about you so she wants to hang out with you after you call her. Being a number bandit is a waste of time and just guarantees you get ghosted.

It's not. Game is not a complete redevelopment of your personality. It's just some tweaks you make to your behavior to accommodate some quirks women have. You can talk to people, right? You are intelligent, interesting, and fun, right? You can do it.

“I see a hot girl fall? I make fun of her.” What kind of loser does that? Isn’t the spontaneous reaction of a human being, man or woman, in such a situation, to say, “Are you o.k.?” This guy is suggesting he might say, “Damn, been walking long?” Dude, shut the fuck up. Obviously, if a woman is seriously hurt I'm not going to laugh. I would laugh the same way that I would laugh if one of my friends fell. That's how normal people interact with each other. Right. You fumbled her when you called her a 10/10. You are putting this woman on a pedestal which means you are almost certainly acting needy, corny, overly interested, censoring yourself, and so forth. You blew it this time, next time treat all women the same, no matter how great you think they are.

Whenever guys talk about "the issues with dating in the modern world" I know they are being a little bitch and not focusing on their own improvement. The issues with dating in the modern world are not your problem, you can't fix them, and they are no better in any other country. All you can do is work on yourself to improve. The dating world is fine with men who are attractive and have game. All of this "dating sucks in the modern world" is just cope for guys that don't want to improve themselve…

I think trying to fuck a girl who told you she has a boyfriend is a waste of time. Telling you she has a boyfriend is a mild rejection - why not go find a girl who does not have a boyfriend. If a girl tells me she has a boyfriend, I straight up ask her if she is willing to cheat on him. If not, I move on. I got options babyyy.

First, you were being too aggressive. You don't invite a woman back to your place, or invite yourself back to their place until they've been showing STRONG signals that they want to be taken back. And then after they said "no," instead of playing it cool you double down and started being weird and insecure. And of course, the whole "are you using me for drinks" reeks of insecurity. Also, saying "are you using me for drinks" was stupid because you were the one who offered to buy them a bottle of …

Confidence is an important element, but its not everything. Being 5'5 is surely a disadvantage, but you can make for a lot of it with confidence. But the point is that you should not be thinking about yourself at all when approaching girls. You should be thinking about them and how much fun you are having.

This is a waste of breath typing this. Shoulda coulda woulda doesn't matter in the real world. In the real world, women do not approach, so if you want to make something happen, you need to make it happen yourself.

Girls don't have a fuck about anything except for how you make them feel. The fact that you have 100k followers doesn't mean jack shit, and if you brag about it you will just look like an insecure loser that is trying to validate himself to her. Any "cool" thing about you should be a surprise that she discovers herself, not some kind of gay bait that you tried to lure her in with.

Women don't ever like to be "possessed" or "controlled," so you need to get that out of your head immediately. Women like dominant, confident guys, but they want the ability to be able to get on and off the ride whenever they want. So you can only give a woman orders when she wants it. Furthermore, women don't want to take orders from a man until they have emotionally invested in him and start to see him as an alpha male. Also, this caveman times stuff is bullshit. Women have a deep, subconsciou…

Dude 50% of marriages of end in divorce. 30% of young adults are not having sex. Most women nowadays have given up on dating. this shit is complicated, and you want to ignore the details and nuances of attraction you will end up a failure like most men in the modern world.

Here's my "hot take" - trying to build "social proof" is a waste of time. If you are generally a cool, social person you will eventually make friends and people will get to know you, but you also need to be able to talk to girls without "help" from other people. And going out of your way to be seen with other girls is lame, insecure behavior. I also think preselection is overrated. A girl will become slightly more interested in you because she saw another girl show interest in you, but that's no…

I generally don't ask for a girl's number or to hang out until I feel like she is genuinely interested in seeing me again. I have a lot of abundance, so I don't need to chase girls that aren't 100% about me. But if she is, I will invite her to a fun social event, like a drink at a bar or to go see a DJ. I won't use the word "date" but I basically make clear it is a date.
/r/seduction17/07/26 03:10 PM
1

When you work with somebody or are in a situation where you see them over and over again, you should play it cool and only ask them out once it is very clear they are interested in you. Just by being around you, women build attraction so you don't need to push the issue. You only need to be aggressive when you meet a woman in the wild because if you don't text her she will forget about you.
/r/seduction17/07/26 01:45 AM

The fact that he is being underhanded and manipulative is worse given that he will be seeing them over and over again. Simply put, you should either not go for a girl, and if you do, you should do it directly.

Everything you did was wrong. This whole "lets set up a practice session" is a slimy, sleazy thing to do. If you want to hang out with a girl in a romantic context, just ask her out on a date. If you don't think she wants to go on a date with you, then move the fuck on. But trying to be slick and invite her to a "practice session" is a gay, low confidence move. First, you are lying about your real intentions and the girls see that a mile away, which makes you look manipulative, dishonest, and li…

Wow it's amazing that you can type so much and me still completely disagree with you. Because those women were interested in threesomes, if they weren’t it wouldn’t have had a positive effect, it’s that simple. No, a lot of those women would never have a threesome in a million years. This is a very good point (even though, I would add "learning game" to Playing Offense). Manosphere content can send a man down two very different paths: the self-improvement path, and the resentful, angry, loser path. Whether or not a woman is a "casual" has nothing to do with whether you should be "maybe" towards her. You are putting "good girls" on a pedestal and imagining that they are somehow more pure or better than "casuals." That's completely wrong.
/r/TheRedPill10/07/26 08:13 PM

What are "the casuals"? You shouldn't put women into these stupid categories. Female psychology is the same in all women, and if a woman has not worked for anything more than "you'll see," you shouldn't give it to her.

You shouldn't be thinking at all. Anxiety feeds on thoughts. All your thoughts are negative. All your thoughts are bad. Your only "thought" should be enjoying yourself in the moment. If you see a pretty girl, just walk up to her and give her a warm, genuine compliment. If she wants to keep talking to you, she will make that clear. That's it. Nothing else to think about.

Unfortunately, I think all the major models are "woke" and they refuse to help you with anything that even smells of red pill. They keep telling me that I need to completely change the point of what i am saying. I mostly want to use the AI models to help me shorten the text and remove duplicative and unnecessary text, but it still won't do that.

Black Pill is horseshit. Being confident, having game, fixing your internal mental state, and being a socially pleasant person are hard to do, so losers on the internet just tell themselves that girls only care about money and/or looks as an excuse to not improve themselves. This shit ruins lives.

Wrong. The thing women most want is a man living a fun life, and by that I mean he is pursuing attractive purposes he is passionate about, doing fun things, and not letting anybody stop him or introduce negativity into his life. All that other stuff (social status, wealth) are just secondary indicators of what they really want, which is a fun life.

Dude you are being way too aggressive. You should not immediately ask if a girl is single - that is basically saying "I'm a predator looking for pussy." You are completely changing the subject. The point I was trying to make is that most strippers have terrible game, and the "game" part of what they do is a major reason strippers quit stripping. Going to a strip club to learn "game" from strippers is objectively stupid, especially considering that their "game" is very different from what men would do.
/r/seduction16/06/26 03:37 PM

The worst thing a guy can do is be a serial killer that eats his victims. So yes, this is not the worst thing a guy can do. But it is still much worse than just practicing game on real girls who aren't working.
/r/seduction16/06/26 12:21 AM

I'm good. I know more strippers, and have fucked more strippers, than you ever will. Most of the girls who quit stripping quit because they hate the talking part. Just because you do something a lot doesn't mean you will be good at. There are guys that spend 10 years on this subreddit and approach thousands of girls and still suck.
/r/seduction16/06/26 12:15 AM

This is the stupidest thing I have ever fucking read. The best way to learn game is to actually practice game, not go to a strip club and harass some poor woman who is trying to make money. You are only going to strip clubs because you are too big of a pussy to approach women on their own and you want them to approach. Also, it is fucked up to the dancers to go in their and try to take their time without paying them anything. At best, you are being unethical and at worst you will get your fuckin…

I agree that small talk is stupid and counterproductive. Your goal is to find a topic that both you and her enjoy talking about. If you just met somebody, you have no idea what they would enjoy talking about, so you ask broad questions until you find something you both enjoy. "How was your day?" "How is your life going?" "How did you end up here?"
/r/seduction15/06/26 03:56 PM

Being needy and pushy are extremely unattractive to women and make you look desperate and low value. Women want to chase men, not be chased, and they often prefer a challenging loser to an objectively better guy who is not a challenge.

Don't do it. Trying to play games and manipulate girls almost always blows up in your face. If you need to do this shit to get a girl that means the girl doesn't like you. I'm not talking about less neurotic in life in general, but when it comes to meeting random guys. A super hot girl knows that when a random guy approaches her, things are going to go much better than if a random guy approached an ugly girl.

This isn't just one girl; this is many girls. Also, even if you aren't a girl's type, she won't immediately reject you unless you are being pushy and creepy. Most girls appreciate an approach, a compliment, and a fun conversation, even if it is from a guy they would not want to have sex with.

Dennis Rodman was attractive for 2 reasons (aside from being rich, famous, and a great basketball player) First, he was a "bad boy" and by that I meant that he had the balls to do edge, out-of-bounds thing that most men or women are too scared to do. Coloring his hair, wearing a wedding dress, acting crazy. Most people, especially women, are scared shitless of doing these things, but the fact that Dennis Rodman had the balls to do them made him attractive. That is fundamentally why women like ba…

The key is to focus on having fun and enjoying the interaction without thinking about yourself. Most men suck at social interactions because they are too in their own head about themselves - does this person like me, what if I am acting weird, what should I say to look cool, etc. Another mistake men make is being selfish in social situations - they use the interaction as a way to make themselves feel better about themselves by bragging, putting other people down, trauma dumping, etc. In a social…

There is no such thing as a "quick lay." That is some bullshit pick up artist scammers say to get guys to buy their programs. Go to these places: Union Pool, House of Yes, Melody's (for an older crowd). Look up some club promoters and tell them you will pay $150 to be a part of their table for the night. Dont think about it. The more you think, the more you will find excuses to not do it. Just do it. That's literally the only way. Also, having an approach that is not needy helps. A lot of guys are scared to approach because deep down they know the are being needy or desperate. If you just start by saying "I'm going to just compliment her and move on" you will be much more motivated to do it. Worst case scenario, she says thanks but does not show interest.

I actually have an answer to this. this is from the book I am working on: Every time an attractive man gives advice about how to succeed with women, some loser comes out of the woodwork and shrieks “Easy for you to say bro, you’re good looking. To be honest, 22 is still too young for me. Realistically, I probably can't do anything less than like 27 or 28 now. The reason I chose 22 is that "age" is much less important than "life stage." A 30 year old woman and a 35 year old woman are not that different, but an 18 year old and a 23 year old are completely different. An 18 year old's only life experience is high school, whereas a 25 year old has completed college, worked a real job, lived in the real world, etc. That's why I say that any …

No small talk is not attractive. Girls want fun, passionate conversations, not boring conversations about boring shit. Also, you shouldn't be having small talk over text. You shouldn't be texting girls period. Meet with them in person.

No that's absolutely not what I'm saying at all. Plenty of guys would WANT to go out and party with hot girls on a weeknight. You have to say no even if you want to do it because your mission and purposes come over girls.

Why do guys feel the need to "chat" with girls online? Get their number and meet with them in person. Not only do you not need to small talk, small talk is BAD.

Women are different than men dude. Women "like" a lot of guys, but they only emotionally invest in one guy at a time, and if you are not that guy, you are always going to get the short end of the stick. Women like attention, even from guys they are not emotionally invested in, and they will do anything they can to get attention, even if it means making out with them.

I'm glad you brought up this point, and I am going to address it in the book. If it were me, the answer is still no. First, those girls have not done enough to merit being invited to my house. I don't know them and I don't trust them. Second, there is no guaranteed sex. Lots of girls wanna come and just hang out and might not fuck you. Third, even if it was guaranteed sex, the answer is STILL NO, because I have to work the next day, and if I fuck the girl I will be up all night. To a man that ca…

That approach was dogshit. You can't go straight to asking for a phone number. It looks desperate, needy, and honestly a little predatory. You need to build up a rapport first. I generally don't ever even ask girls for their number. If a girl likes you, she will ask you to take her number.

I love lots of girl friends that I will never have sex with, and I tell them they look good and are hot all the time. "Wow, that dress looks good on you." Shit like that. As for sexual jokes, the best sexual jokes subtly communicate that you want to fuck her, but don't put any pressure on her if she's not into it. A good joke is one that subtly disqualifies her - like you can say something like "everyone here probably thinks we're a couple, but they have no idea that we are completely incompatib…

The way to do it is to go out, have a fun time, and slowly escalate if she's into it. You start by making sexual jokes, telling her she's hot, touching her, dancing, etc. But if you start fucking your friends, they will stop being your friends. FWB relationships are rarely stable because one party usually falls for the other, and once that happens then the friendship cannot be salvaged. Also, a lot of FWB relationships are emotional blackmail - the girl often wants to be boyfriend-girlfriend, an…

The key to getting a girl on a date isn't about knowing the perfect pickup line to ask her out. That's actually extremely stupid. Rather, the key to getting a girl on a date is building enough rapport with her so that she cares about seeing you again. Hot girls are constantly meeting guys and giving their numbers to guy, and the next day they literally don't remember who most of the guys that are texting them even were. You need to have a long interaction with a woman for her to want to hang out…

"Let's catchup sometime" is a horrible thing to text. You need to take the lead, pick a time and place. Saying "Let's catchup sometime" means you cannot lead, have no direction, and have no plans. It is poison to women. Say, "I'm going to X on Tuesday. Are you free to come?" Or some shit like that. Also, you should not be becoming text buddies with women. You should quickly invite them out for a date. These girls are using you for attention.
/r/seduction21/04/26 01:54 PM

Game is 99% mental. You can study pick up lines and routines, but the real challenge is overcoming the idea that "super hot" girls don't like you. The reason you fail with "super hot" girls is because you think of them in your mind as "super hot" and therefore in some other category that you cannot achieve.

this is not true. This is cope for guys to not work on their game. The thinking is "women only care if you are hot, tall, or rich, and I am not those things, so why even bother." This is loser thinking. The reality is that lots of tall, hot, rich guys fail with women because their game and personality sucks. And lots of mediocre guys succeed with women because they have good games. Stop making excuses.

You are approaching this completely wrong. Meeting girls isn't about deploying stupid tricks like saying "Is it pink." It is about becoming a grounded, fun, charming person who can carry a conversation and have a fun time without looking desperate, needy, overbearing, etc. Once you do that, you can pick up girls anywhere. But if you see pick up as reading a manual where you tips and tricks, then yes, it will only work in certain situations.

These number ratings (5, 6, 7, 8, 9) are all in your head. You think you are "good enough" for some girls (the girls you classify as 5 and 6) and you act one way around those girls, and then you decide you are not good enough for other girls (7, 8, 9). Go buy a hooker dude. This kind of desperation is like kryptonite to women. Calm the fuck down, take a cold shower, and act normal.

Again, this is just part of a book I am working on. Here is a different section that says what you say: -- From what I have said so far, game might seem easy: find a bunch of cool purposes to pursue, cultivate traits that show you can successfully pursue those purposes, and make sure women see you enjoy them. Sounds easy, right? Well, there is one giant complicating factor: Womens’ desire for a man who pursues attractive purposes is primarily a subconscious emotion that is the result of millions…

You are correct in all of this. This is part of a book I am writing, and I say what you say later in the chapter.

You are overthinking this. Any kind of art or content creation is attractive to women.

Dude, it is not easy to get girls. I hate when guys say this. "Have high self esteem" "Create emotional engagement." You realize that is very hard for lots of guys, right? A major reason that most content about game sucks is that most guys cannot empathize with the struggles of other guys.

Guys that are too afraid to approach strangers target women at their workplace because those women already talk to them. It's the same reason guys target women who are working at Starbucks and stuff - those women have to be nice to them so those are the only women they have the balls to approach.
/r/seduction19/02/26 01:57 PM

Then you need to learn how to talk to people in general, not just people who share your narrow band of interests. Everybody is interesting in their own way, and it's up to you to bring that out of them.

You shouldn't be "flirting" over text. Text is for making plans to go on a date and keeping her warm between dates. Text her and invite her out to something. If she says no, stop texting her.
/r/seduction17/02/26 04:36 AM

Don't hit on girls who are working. They are captive audiences and they have to be nice to you. Don't do it. That said, you don't "build confidence." You just fucking do it. The more you think, the more you fuck yourself.
/r/seduction17/02/26 04:00 AM

Stop thinking of it as "talking to women" as if they are some alien creature. Just focus on talking to them like you would talk to anybody else. Have a fun conversation. The most attractive you can do is genuinely have fun.

Girls don't usually approach guys. You need to approach them.

You are not trying hard enough. Also, just read what you are saying. Do you really think all good looking ladies have boyfriends? That's absurd.

Texting is for 2 things: 1) To set up dates, and 2) To keep her warm in between dates so she does not think you lost interest. Texting IS NOT for entertaining her, trying to build attraction, or being her text buddy, especially if she is not hanging out with you.

To continue... But there is an even deeper answer to the guys who say that game only works for attractive guys: Physical attractiveness is almost never the real problem. The problem is almost always mental. Guys often use their physical appearance as an excuse as to why they are terrible with women and why they refuse to learn game, but in over 10 years of coaching men in this space, I have literally never met a guy whose problem was that he was too ugly. Men frequently claim that the main thing…

You meet women the same way attractive men meet women. There are no special rules for ugly guys. You have to do the same thing. You will just get less success. Here is a blurb from my upcoming book on this exact question: --- Every time an attractive man gives advice about how to succeed with women, some loser comes out of the woodwork and shrieks “Easy for you to say bro, you’re good looking. That doesn’t work for us ugly guys.” My response to that? The losers are right. Women are not intereste…

26 isn't old at all. Also, there are bars where you can go that are more age-appropriate for you. Also, you should never think about anything like this before you approach women. You need to just go for it. Thinking about anything is poison.
/r/seduction10/02/26 03:38 AM

Yes. But you need to know how to do it. Most guys are too scared to approach, and when they do approach, they don't spend enough time with her for her to care enough to hang out with him later.
/r/seduction02/02/26 07:07 PM

You are mixing up cold approach and one night stands. They are not the same thing.

Apps are a terrible way to meet women unless you have insanely good pictures. Approaching in person is much better. As for being Asian, the best advice I can give is to not look like the typical Asian guy. Become something different and fresh that doesn't fit into the stereotype of what she thinks an Asian guy is.

The fact that you are freaking out about this so much is just proving my point. You are way too girl crazy, you are way too emotionally invested in getting laid, and you need to take a break from women and just live your life. Women are just dessert, not the main course, but it is clear you are spending way too much time obsessing about women and tehri supposed problems. And guess what? Men are animals too.
/r/seduction29/01/26 08:01 PM

There are 2 problems here: 1) Men emotionally invest much more quickly than women, which causes men to act needy, pushy, overly aggressive, overly interested, too serious, insecure, etc. Women take a long time before they start to have "feelings" and are ready to have sex, whereas men are usually ready to go right away. 2) A lot of women in the modern world are damaged from being taken advantage of for sex in the past, so they are reluctant to emotionally connect with any man, especially if the …

You are too invested in this girl. The fact that you are freaking out over her taking long to respond means you care too much. Go focus on other things. If she texts you, great. If not, you should have other options in your life. The general rule is this: You reward her for whatever she does for you. If she texts you, you text her back. If she doesn't, you don't.

Having a deep relationship with one person is great, but both men and women have a tendency to emotionally overinvest when they think they have found the "one." When you emotionally overinvest, you put way too much of your thoughts and emotions into a woman when she does not care for you the same way. That is why pick-up artists teach that men should develop the skills to create options for themselves so that 1) don't emotionally overinvest when a girl likes them and 2) can quickly move on when …

Here's a newflash, brother. All women play games. It's in their DNA. Women evolved to test mens' fitness by presenting challenges to their frame and seeing how they react. If a man is going to buckle just because you talked about another man, then she will feel like you are weak and not worth following.
/r/seduction27/01/26 09:30 PM

No that's lame. That's butthurt shit. When a girl brings up another guy you just say "I don't want to hear about that shit" and then you only leave if she keeps talking about him.

Women are attracted to men who they feel like could survive in the wild and beat up their enemies. So whatever that is. In terms of physical attraction, professional fighters probably get the most attention from women. Giant bodybuilders cannot move their arms enough to wipe their own ass, and they clearly look insecure for doing that to themselves, so they are unattractive. But after a certain level of attractiveness, women stop caring what you look like. You need to focus on other aspects of y…

That's cope. Most women would want to fuck somebody like Drake; they are just not in that line because they can control their emotions.

You are overthinking this shit way too much and you are being super needy and aggressive. You should just focus on having fun. Don't do anything at the end of the date that indicates you want to bring her back or even that you want to have another date. just focus on having fun. If the girl wants to fuck you she will do something to indicate that to you.

The first step is to stop thinking you are "behind." Unless you are mentally defective in some way, you know how to have a conversation, you know how to introduce yourself, and you know how to be charming, cool, friendly. Your only problem is that, in your head, you think there is something wrong with you. Here is what you do. Just walk up to any girls you think are attractive and compliment something about them. There is no magical "minority game" that will cause you to succeed with women. The only things a minority should do differently are the following: 1) Don't let being a minority get into your head and affect your game. You should interact with every woman like you are the hottest, most appealing guy in the world. 2) Don't accept any kind of racism or shitty behavior from her because you are a minority. If a girl makes any kind of racist or otherwise disrespectful remark about your ethnicity/race/…

Texting is just for logistics is wrong. It was originally a response to guys becoming text buddies with women and texting them all day and never getting dates. I think a more useful paradigm is "texting is for logistics and keeping the woman warm in between your hangouts so she doesn't feel like you forgot about her, lost interest, etc."

The worst thing you can TRY - try to impress her, try to be funny, try to look cool, try to be an "asshole," try to run game, etc. Instead, you should just have fun. Flirting is you saying "Hey, would you like to join me on this fun activity."
