I think it was only a matter of time before gay/lesbian parents end up raising transgender children. Not because I think gay men want a son, or that lesbians want a daughter, but because they can raise kids, and statistically it was bound to happen.

Transgenderism is rare, if this was a result of lesbians despising men, or some feminist conspiracy, then there would be a lot more cases of it happening. This is just a case of a child being transgender. These parents are not even pumping estrogen into their child, they're simply delaying puberty. They're giving their child more time to think about who she/he really is. This is honestly the best case for any potential trans child since puberty can be a traumatic period for trans children. This kid is being given precious time to decide, not being abused. If Tommy decides he is a he, then he can quite the medication and go through a normal male puberty. If she decides to be a Tammy, then her parents can put her though a therapist and a doctor to carefully monitor her while she goes through female puberty.

Prevalence is anywhere from 0.05% to 1.2% at the most generous.

But somehow that justifies manipulating a child into this shit.

Geez...let the kid turn 18 and choose for himself. Talk about invading a kid's bodily autonomy. How is this different ethically than genital mutilation?

The source is a bit biased but its their child and while i personally disagree with what they are doing its not mine or anyone elses place to stop them unless they cross into actual child abuse which could be brought to court. As much as people disagree its not illegal just immoral.
