I took a picture of my daughter right out of the womb and have it on my phone, posted it on my facebook as well. She is naked and laying on the scale. There is no way humanly possible to sexualize that. Yet it could land me in jail and on a sex offender registry in today's America.

I read something a while back that said during a Child Protective Services visit to this guys house the social worker put in her report "Child pornography openly on display" because he had a picture of his infant kid naked on a blanket with clouds in the backround. I personally wouldn't have a picture like that on my mantle but to each their own. Still it ended up costing him his child and the social worker reported it, the police came over saw the picture and reported what it was to the DA and the DA didn't file charges because it was very appearant that it wasnt sexual in nature at all. Still to have to go through that hastle over something that is innocent and "cute" is a nightmare.

My mom used to have albums and albums full of every kind of picture imaginable, there were tons of my brothers and sisters and I in the bath, playing in the yard with a hose or sprinkler with no clothes on whatsoever. My mom was a hippy and let us run around naked all the time once we were potty trained, so even in some pictures like birthdays someone will be sitting there in the nude. It's really stupid that something like that could be considered pornography.

I remember once my wife sent me a picture of my daughter in the bath while I was on a ship in the middle of the Gulf Of Oman and I told her not to send me any pictures like that because she could get me in trouble, its sad that society has come to that now. There is a huge double standard though, women can get away with having and taking pictures like that. If a man takes a picture of his kids in a bath he is obviously a raging pedophile and danger to them.

I came home from a weekend retreat of male survivors of childhood sexual abuse to find my mother showing baby pictures of me and talking about my little penis to a group of 20 people I didn't know at a party for my parent's wedding anniversary. The next day, she tried to put my parkinson's ridden father in a mental hospital. He was turned away, but the doctor said she could come in. I didn't even know about this because I was sick with ecoli. My father died just a few months later. When I told my militant feminist mother I didn't like her showing my baby penis to those people, she screamed at me and told me it was my fault because I had just come back from the retreat and was still haunted by the screaming cries of men who were viciously raped and tortured. Only that morning I was hearing those screams. She said I was being too sensitive. She's always nasty like that, though. If she wasn't my mother, I would have disappeared from her long ago, like everybody else in our life. Yeah, it was scary.
