You are conflating feminism with women's rights. I very much support women's rights, and on its merits I oppose feminism, and I think most in this sub-reddit are the same. I see very few opponents of women's rights here, and I'm fairly inclined to think these continual accusations are just some form of gaslighting.

Correct me if I am wrong, but it appears that women's rights activism ends up being detrimental to men, particularly when you start look at the edges of what constitutes activism. No MRA should accept the VAMA or the Duluth method. These are feminist creations. They are feminist creations to unfairly malign men and boys, in essense, masculinity. They deny the "boy crisis" because they are afraid that resources are going to be diverted to those that need it most, boys. Feminism is a political ideology, in my humble opinion, not an egalitarian philosphy. You can see the hypocrisy when they argue that what men need is more feminism, and in the next breath that feminism doesn't have any obligation to fight for guys.

First off, you seem to have conflated feminism and women's rights activism. They aren't the same thing. Most people here strongly disagree with feminist idealogy, which is pretty anti-male.

Pushing women ahead by screwing over men isn't even remotely okay. When people don't do that, great! If they don't help men but they don't claim to, great! The issue is the rest, which isn't exactly just the radfems.

I think that constantly whining about feminists making everything bad is stupid. You aren't getting anywhere by doing it, you're just making people dislike you. If it's not relevant to the conversation, don't bring it up.

I support both Men's Rights and Women's Rights too, by believing both should have equal/equitable rights. I do not however believe Women's Rights and feminism are the same thing. These "women's rights activism communities" are usually feminist activism communities and are usually pro things that are unfair and hurt men unjustly. When they don't, I support their position.

I also believe that while women do still have areas that disadvantage them, they are far less in number and severity. For example, rallying against the clearly-going-to-fail attack on their reproductive rights by the Right while ignoring the fact that we don't really have any and trying to use vasectomies as an equivalent to abortion. And laughably claiming things like pro-life people or people against subsidized birth control are attacks on women to control women, when in reality they're beliefs that abortion is murder and that people shouldn't pay for personal choice or that sexual promiscuity is immoral. I'm pro-choice, but come on.

Feminism as an ideology lies about the past, the present, and actively, and often violently, suppresses dissent and Men's Rights. Men's Rights isn't again Women's Rights but against Women's Privileges. Women's Rights is cool, feminism IS always wrong. And evil.

Edit: To clarify, feminism is always wrong because it is an ideology explaining why things are the way they are and using that to justify their crazier positions. Feminists are not wrong when they're lobbying against something that is disadvantaging women.

Feminism is bigotry towards men. It isn't about women's rights. (almost) Everyone believes in women's rights. The vast majority of people who believe in women's rights are not feminists. Feminists do not believe in men's rights. Therefor to support men's rights you can also support women's rights, and we do, but you cannot also support feminism. This isn't a difficult concept!

And feminism is demonstrably against mens, fathers and male abuse victims rights, thats why the mens movement is mobilized against feminist laws that harm mens rights.

I can only speak for myself (and there are certainly people here that do not agree with me) but it just seems like everything is for the benefit of women these days. You can't turn on your TV or check your internets without reading about some new initiative for girls, or another law that gives women owned firms preferential treatment over male firms. ESPN will have the NCAA women's basketball scores ahead of say the NBA, with their front page story the women's elite 8. I mean, no disrespect to women's college basketball but it's an awful product that doesn't hold a candle to even the Men's tournament; the leading story, really? Then there's ridiculous made up days like National Cleavage Day, more veneration of everything women (just be sure not to objectify a woman, ever).

So when I hear about women's rights issues it's kind of confusing and a bit insulting. Women are already first class citizens in the eyes of the law, universities, family courts, and societal norms. Our entire society is about helping women get ahead now days, what exactly is the problem? Men are the ones getting shortchanged by all of this and that's where we come in. The Men's Rights movement is about sticking up for MEN. We don't need to address women's rights or even consider them because they are being addressed 10 fold. We are about looking after our own sex and make sure we don't get railroaded by all the "equality" at the detriment of everything male that this society has become.

This seems to be a case of false equivalence: While feminism can be a form of WRA, WRA is not feminism. As you yourself stated in your second edit:

I support women's right's equally with men's right's but definitely don't identify as a feminist in any way.

Who do you think actually has the power to scapegoat and subject other people to legal and institutional abuse - MRAs or feminists?

"Women's rights activism" in practice often does mean the systematic removal of men's human and civil rights. So yeah, we're going to keep hating feminists. But thanks for your concern, troll.
