Pizzy received death threats often for her stance that men could also be victims. She was fucking brave to say something back then, that people only now are even starting to come to grips with. Male victims of DV still to this day, however, arent taken seriously.

If you can get over the fact it was on FOX News, here's a great related read from Wendy McElroy, an "individualist feminist" who is a big critic of mainstream feminism. I was elated to see her use the term "orthodoxy" to describe the religious adherence to feminist theory, as I'd independently begun doing recently myself.

The same thing happened in MADD. The founder left because the organization filled up with conservatives who were against just drinking.

I recommend it; it is an easy read, fascinating, and eye-opening.

She observed that some people crave drama, while others hate it. The drama-lovers created conflict and violence in their lives and in the lives of their lovers and children.
