I disagree. I am sure that there are plenty of female firefighters, policemen etc that are just as fit as their male counterparts. Rather than discriminating pay over gender, somthing which one cannot control, why make the pay gap based on how they perform in simulations. This way women who do perform well get paid a lot, and men who perform badly get paid little. If the physical side to the tests makes it veer toward men likes this video suggests, well so be it, the competence of these important people should be placed above filling any quotas, male or female.
tldr; Pay people based on how well they do their jobs, regardless of gender.

Shouldn't need a pay gap at all for anyone, there just needs to be stricter physical tests, even if women can't pass them.

But, you can't always hire the best of the best, there just aren't enough perfect people to fill the jobs. You would need some people not as strong to help out, and do the less physical jobs. And those people, men or women, who barely pass, would be doing it, while those who excel at the test would handle the brunt of it.
A female firefighter may have to put significantly more work in, to achieve the same physical state as a male firefighter, but, if they can prove to be equal, they should be payed equal, if they cannot prove to be equal, they should not.
Also, in the future, genetic modification, muscle implants, etc could very well make the biological differences go away completely.
