I was recently thinking about some hypocrisies and contradictions in feminist dogma. I'll post them here, feel free to contribute.

  1. Feminists claim that child support payments are minimal and don't come near covering the cost of raising a child. They also claim that fathers / father's rights groups seek shared or primary custody solely so they can avoid paying child support.

But hang on, if raising a child costs more than the child support payments, that doesn't make sense. Having custody would cost them more money!

  1. When feminists talk about the prevalence of rape, they use surveys and studies, not police stats or crime report figures. If they used crime report figures, the number of rapes would be quite minimal, especially since rape is under-reported.

When feminists talk about domestic violence, they use crime reports and police statistics. This is so they can say that the vast majority of domestic violence is committed by men.

But hang on, I thought we just established that police stats are unreliable? Surveys and scholarly studies show that women commit domestic violence equally, that women do not commit DV solely in self-defense, and that men are injured only slightly less than women.

  1. If there is a fact or situation that paints women in a negative light, it is because of discrimination and external factors. E.g. Only 15% of Wikipedia contributors are women. This is because of sexism and discrimination.

If there is a fact or situation that paints women positively, it is because women are empowered and succeeding on their own merits. E.g. Over 50% of managers in the United States are women, this is because of women's hard work, not because of external factors.

Any more?
