It still might be worth consulting a solicitor, even if police aren't involved yet. Don't just assume that nothing will come of it, you'll be all the more unstuck if something does. Make sure you know your movements on the nights in question, and see if there's anyone who can corroborate them.

The vast majority of "spiked drinks" cases turn out to just be excessive alcohol consumption. In this case, you've got the worst of both worlds if she proceeds to file a complaint with police, because there is no longer any question of doing a blood test to see what, if anything, you added to her drinks.

What she gets out of this is the same thing she got the first time she did the same thing to her "friends". Attention. She got your attention and solicitude. Now she's getting it from someone else.

This might be a toxic mindset but here goes:

Some girls (and I speak from experience), especially girls with parental issues (and by extension self-esteem issues) go to great lengths to ‘find themselves’. And in doing that process, they learn how easy it can be to get men. When that happens and happens relatively easily for certain women, they compound both their personal issues, their affinity for drugs and sex, and their capability of getting multiple suitors who will generally be nice to them, into a spoiled self-serving attitude.

And these women end up being the type to do crazy shit just to feel something for themselves. It was never about you, it was about feeling good about herself, and then her shame hit her when she got drunk again. So because she has toxic ways of dealing with her shit and doesn’t respect men because she always has someone new, she didn’t care about the personal effect the things she said about you would have on your life.

If you want to avoid these type of women, watch what they do and not what they say. And if they have to blatantly publicly mention how sure of themselves or unsure of themselves they are, then they’ve got low self-esteem. They’re outwardly trying to convince themselves that they’re normal or a good person. That’s a big red flag.

Again, this is NEVER all women. This is usually younger women that didn’t get access to help or had an abusive home. But more often than not, in my dating experience, this is a very common theme.

Not only sucks for her, and those she accuse, but does a disservice also to all women - women ought be listened to and believed ... but when some go around telling lies and making false allegations - that puts all under air of suspicion - shouldn't need to be that way, but alas, only takes a moderate percentage telling such lies and making such false allegations to screw things up for everybody.

Anyway, she's toxic - stay away - stay far away. And also document her false allegations and such - in case if ever mounts up to something you need/want to do something about. But likely she'll soon forget you and quickly move on to some other victim. And friggin' heaven help her if somebody ever does what she's accusing everyone of doing ... because she'd then have a helluva time to then convince folks she wasn't lying yet again. Yeah, ... cried wolf ... don't do that.

And yeah, false allegations, etc., not a laughing matter or joke - not at all - can seriously screw people's lives up. Fortunately haven't particularly run into that ... but some relatively close calls - e.g. once-upon-a-time had an encounter with one that threatened to make false allegations.

This reminds me of a post I saw a good while back on the FDS sub. A girl told a story about getting wasted with her neighbor at her apartment complex pool. She claimed to have blacked out and woke up in bed with him the next day. She said that he wasn’t her type, that she never would have slept with him otherwise, therefore he must have taken advantage of her, and wanted to know if she should contact the police.

I read this thread in horror as redditors egged her on to press charges, saying she was raped.

I chimed in, begged her not to ruin this man’s life over something that was her decision — to get blacked out wasted with her neighbor during the day. I was told by others that because she was blacked out, she didn’t know what she was doing, so she wasn’t responsible for what happened after — that even if she voluntarily slept with him, HE should have known that she was blacked out, and HE should not have slept with her, and because he did, he raped her. My jaw hit the floor. I argued with multiple redditors that, even if you take that argument (which I think is flawed), you can’t necessarily tell when someone is blacked out, because they just seem drunk. I’ve been blacked out drunk, had conversations with people, slept with girls, and didn’t remember anything. My arguments did not sway any of them — it was all his fault.

I was, of course, banned from the sub, and it’s one of the reasons that lead to my old Reddit account being “permanently suspended”.

The moral of this story: watch yourself

A lass like made a false allegation against me. Weekend before she made the allegation she was in a night out and told me she got spiked and blacked out. She made it up he spiked her. He showed me the vid of her drinking samba as back. Like nobody’s business. Could of potentially been another f/a.
