Will they also denounce amber

[–]kriskros18 396 points397 points398 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Only Amber is heard 😜

[–]andy123north 51 points52 points53 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

🤣🤣🤣🤣

[–]TheStrouseShow 157 points158 points159 points 4 years ago (26 children) | Copy Link

This pisses me off so much. It’s disgusting how many ways it’s been proven that she’s the abuser but Johnny Depp is dragged and losing jobs.

Please know that there are many, MANY other women that despise Amber Heard just as much as I do.

[–]andy123north 35 points36 points37 points 4 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

Im glad to hear it most of my friend are all behind her

[–]TheStrouseShow 44 points45 points46 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I’ll be your friend, you need smarter/better ones.

[–]LawUntoChaos 22 points23 points24 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Will you also be my friend?

[–]asiwaritXR 17 points18 points19 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I will!

[–]TheStrouseShow 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Hells yes I will!

[–]angelgu323 11 points12 points13 points 4 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

I mean what backwater state do you live in? Most people hate Amber Heard atleast in the last two states ive been in

[–]Themightysavage 14 points15 points16 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Where do you live? Bc most places I go they still think he's the villan

[–]angelgu323 9 points10 points11 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

California and previously was in Colorado for a bit.

I guess, if its a modern state that isn't middle america, most people would admit that Amber is a piece of shit

[–]Themightysavage 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

New yorker here. So If the coasts don't believe who foes?

[–]angelgu323 9 points10 points11 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Eh, guess it's west coast best coast then in this case.

But being in the military, I've meet a lot of New Yorkers so I am not surprised at all by the fact that they stand with Amber Heard lol

[–]Themightysavage 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

We do have our share of morons

[–]Estarossa86 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They do what in nyc? I’m gonna have to test this theory oh wait it’s a Democrat state never mind

[–]airfox3522 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

This is surprising. I would expect Colorado and California people support Amber Heard to the end of the earth, consider both states are very left and pro-women's rights.

[–]angelgu323 9 points10 points11 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I mean being pro women rights and to the left doesnt automatically mean "i suppose abusers"

Those issue's aren't a political statement lol

Just like being pro male right isn't anti woman rights and pro right wing.

[–]Angryasfk 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It shouldn’t be a political issue (certainly not a left/right one), but so called left wing politics is now so infiltrated by feminism (see Cuomo, Trudeau etc.) and this “always believe women” rubbish I can easily see why people would imagine this. I hope that this may help them understand the inherent injustice and bigotry of feminism and the demands it’s now making, but I’m not hopeful.

[–]nosleepincrooklyn 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Hahah denver is very much on the #believewomen train

[–]Angryasfk 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why? Because she’s a woman? Or because she’s “hot”?

[–]Lendari 11 points12 points13 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Careful you'll get banned from the women's subs just for posting here.

[–]TheStrouseShow 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That already happened. I was removed from the rape subreddit for simply subscribing to this sub. Apparently I’m not allowed to be a survivor of rape and still want men to have rights? You figure survivors of rape would want to support men’s rights especially considering false accusations impact the belief of actual victims. I truly don’t understand that.

[–]jpowell180 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I hope her career tanks.

[–]TheStrouseShow 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Me too. Pretty gross how the Aquaman 2 director responded to people calling for Amber Heard to be removed from the film. Apparently you’re only allowed to remove abusers based on an agenda instead of based on their actual behavior. Cancel culture can be a great tool if it was used correctly without discrimination.

[–]Angryasfk 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I’m aware of that. My sister, for example, is a big fan of Hunter S Thompson. But she refuses to ever see The Rum Diary again because a) she’s in it and b) that’s how they met and the whole sorry saga began.

Still thank you for calling this out. A lot of feminists desperately want him to be the villain and Heard to be an innocent victim as their whole world is based upon such beliefs. This bias has to stop and will only stop if enough women say this is BS and wrong.

[–]TheStrouseShow 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Only research that supports their cause matters which is so disheartening. I work in a male dominated industry and my entire team is comprised of men that are older than I am. If I understand their needs and struggles I feel they make the same effort to understand mine. It’s been a fantastic, fun, and respectful working relationship.

[–]kill_streaks 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

They cannot agree that men can be treated badly by women.....even with the evidence.....it is against their ideals( This is called as double standard)

[–]Angryasfk 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

But remember. If feminists didn’t have double standards, they’d have no standards at all!

[–]TheStrouseShow 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No, no. Don’t you know that double standards only apply when the victim is a woman? (sarcasm)

[–]h8xwyf 37 points38 points39 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Obviously not

[–]jpowell180 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If they are fair they will.

[–]Leslie217 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Everyone? One person replied to you lol

[–]DavidByron2 626 points627 points628 points 4 years ago (19 children) | Copy Link

So basically they are saying any man accused by a woman is an abuser even AFTER proof arrives showing the woman is the abuser. This is typical feminism which sets the rigid gender roles of woman = innocent princess and men = guilty subhuman filth no matter what the issue.

It's "all men are rapists" all over again. Feminists really do believe this filth.

[–]McFeely_Smackup[S] 186 points187 points188 points 4 years ago* (7 children) | Copy Link

pretty much, yeah.

they dont' care in the slightest that there's undeniable proof that Amber Heard was an extremely violent abuser...also a bed shitter.

[–]BananaNutLoafBread 14 points15 points16 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

that last part. elaborate.

[–]McFeely_Smackup[S] 20 points21 points22 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

she shit in his bed.

[–]BananaNutLoafBread 8 points9 points10 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

wat

[–]dubblgg 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Once they had a fight, and turd gave Depp a wonderfull present on theire bed:)

[–]Angryasfk 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

She really is Amber Turd isn’t she!!!

No woman is so “hot” so you’d put up with that crap!

[–]Gr1m5_OG 10 points11 points12 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It's like proof is only proof if it proves there point

[–]Angryasfk 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That’s it entirely! You see “evidence” and “truth” are only “social constructs”, and therefore it’s all about power, and, he’s a man (a cis white het man no less!) and therefore has all the power. So, given that, you MUST (if you’re progressive, and if you’re not “progressive” you must be “alt right”) take HER truth (the OP Ed) over HIS truth (that video). It’s clearly part of the imbalance of power that is the patriarchy!!! It’s the same with “mattress girl”. You see she and her co-accuser have THEIR TRUTH, as powerless women (and mattress girl is sometimes non-binary apparently so there’s even more oppression and powerlessness), whilst the entitled powerful cis white het man they accused is part of the oppressive patriarchy. So progressive people have got to take their truth (that he raped them, although it took 6 month or more to realise it - probably due to the prevalence of the patriarchy’s narrative) over his truth, mere texts, emails, Facebook messages before and after the incident. And besides, you should believe all women! Unless only telling the wrong “truth” of course! Ain’t postmodernism GRAND!

[–]hottake_toothache 59 points60 points61 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Correct. Their view is that once a woman is mad at a man, that man is unpersoned forever.

[–]dalicatatonia 51 points52 points53 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Don't forget the narrative of "if we hold false accusers to task, others might be afraid to speak up about abuse." Gotta consolidate that power.

[–]HumActuallyGuy 20 points21 points22 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Jesus Christ that's scary. That's not even close to justice, that's just power hungry.

Literally would you prefer 10 innocent people go to jail or that one guilty person escaped and the feminists would send those 10 innocent people gladly to jail just to see that one guilty one down, that's a scary precident

[–]Angryasfk 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That’s the size of it. They’ve reversed the principle of justice. You can see it in those Title IX abuses - which also give the lie about them “empowering” “POC”, given that black guys are disproportionately unjustly thrown out!

[–]mountainclimbers 17 points18 points19 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Sadly yeah, wish MSM would bring some attention to this issue.

[–]Angryasfk 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Fat chance! Most have feminists in very high positions, and certainly none want to risk the ire of feminists and their fellow travellers and sympathisers. That’s especially the case in the so-called “quality media”, which has been captured by so-called “progressives” these days.

[–]elebrin 66 points67 points68 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I think it's simpler than that. They don't want men to get awards at all. In this case they can use the lies about his situation in their argument.

[–]heyyy-kiddo 16 points17 points18 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They actually can't get many awards on merit so they figured if they can drag down the big fishes who happen to be ,you gueesed, men, they'd have a chance. Hollywood is full of shit anyway, most women probably whore around for film positions then do the 'independent' move and either fuck the idiot that fucked them and claim money and free publicity .....or do like Heard and push out of the race a good actor....i think she makes good money out of all of this ,her actions only prove to her supporters that they can get away....truly sad.

[–]modokbody 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It ain’t about the facts or truth, it’s about getting their outage high while telling themselves theyre always in the right

[–]Angryasfk 15 points16 points17 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Have you seen the way they’ve sandbagged Heard’s Wikipedia article? They’ll do anything to promote their preferred tale! Tall as it may be! Facts don’t count these days. They’re doubtless some “social construct of the patriarchy” to “oppress women” (and no doubt POC, LGBT+++ and whatever group they want to throw in to give themselves some cover).

[–]pubgmisc 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They believe in a fundamentally flawed ideology, an unbalanced way of structuring society that has destroyed civilizations before, rooted with beliefs about things that don't exist

[–]General-Ad9818 313 points314 points315 points 4 years ago (33 children) | Copy Link

I feel bad for Johnny Deep, I mean he’s been abused by Amber Heard and yet he’s being treated like the abuser. If anyone needs to be denounced, it’s Amber Heard

[–]tommy_sostu 123 points124 points125 points 4 years ago (17 children) | Copy Link

Don't Support film in which she appears.

Of course later we will complaint stating that men are toxic for not supporting her projects.

[–]General-Ad9818 54 points55 points56 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I don’t watch movies she’s in anyway so that won’t be a problem, but you do have a point about her complaining about men being toxic if they don’t support her projects. Even women get called “internalized misogynist” if they don’t support films she’s in.

[–]dannyboi1178 12 points13 points14 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Who cares what people say about you, don’t support an abuser

[–]General-Ad9818 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Don’t worry, I won’t, besides I stood by Johnny ever since that case between him and Amber started

[–]Angryasfk 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I’ll bet they do! These feminists have a “believe all women” motto (except when you hear them admit they’re abusers - then you don’t believe them, and rely on self-serving Op-Ed’s instead). Most of them are in denial that any women are perpetrators of DV - they usually mouth some nonsense about “self defence” if you can get them to even acknowledge the actual statistics. How would their ideology look if it turned out the highest profile DV example (which they eagerly embraced when she wrote that self serving Op-Ed) turned out to have a FEMALE perpetrator????

So they have to deny her admission. And abuse any woman who calls her out for what she is.

[–]Fean2616 22 points23 points24 points 4 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

Apparently even before release Aquaman 2 was expected to lose money due to her being in it, seems like people are avoiding her films.

[–]tommy_sostu 16 points17 points18 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Guys, if possible take a look at what is happening in some countries in Europe. Governments are kind of worried cause men are not marrying females from their own countries. Some countries are trying to lure men to engage into marriage 😅😂

Men are looking elsewhere for women with feminine behaviors and values. Men know what's happening, some are taking a stand by not committing to relationships, have a piece on the side till one or the other gets tired or is time to move on. But nothing serious, cause the courts will screw you over and over for something she requests without any hard evidence.

So, why would we want to put ourselves in that position? F that!! Oh and just and FYI, Many platforms are also taking down men forms, apparently men can not and should not complain about anything. But females can complain and without evidence their demands are enough to go against men.

[–]modokbody 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

why even try at this point? It’s better to just go our own way it seems

[–]Tanman55555 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That page got banned (the peaceful one)

[–]Few-Difference1307 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Honestly I can’t even imagine trying to settle down with someone these days, it’s such a massive shitshow out there.

“We're a generation of men raised by women. I'm wondering if another woman is really the answer we need.”

[–]HumActuallyGuy 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

I can tell you from experience, only northern european women and French women (mostly in Paris) are to be avoided, those are the places infested by feminists avoid at all costs .

Countries like Spain, Italy, Greece, eastern european and etc. have some fine traditional women, would recommend because as long as she didn't go to art school, she's probably fine.

Although don't get married idiots, have separate bank accounts, have everything only in your name (the only woman you should have shared bank accounts with is your mother and even then there are exceptions), don't get married. Do the party if you want, have the rings, just don't sign the papers, don't be stupid.

[–]airfox3522 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

You should really talk to men from Spain about the feminism in that country, and you would probably take Spain off your list.

[–]AngryCockOfJustice 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ukraine too, unless you got someone from rural area or not from a well known city. Source: married to one.

[–]HumActuallyGuy 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Really? I've met a couple Spanish girls that were fine, only got problems with the more artsy girls.

[–]Angryasfk 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Spain? That’s where the woman demanding Depp be excluded from getting awards is from!

[–]HumActuallyGuy 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

As I said in the post, as long as it's not a art school girl, you're fine. Filmmaker=art school

[–]hillsofzomia 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Thay's ok. But luckily she doesn't act in any good movies

[–]Few-Difference1307 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Luckily she’s only in complete garbage anyway, the idea that she is somehow comparable to Johnny Depp professionally is an absolute joke.

I can’t name a single movie she’s in beyond capeshit, whereas Depp has been in some pretty amazing movies (fear and loathing, platoon, Ed Wood just for a few examples).

What human trash she is, shame on my country for that show trial - what a mockery of the justice system.

[–]amightyusername 67 points68 points69 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

I feel bad for Johnny Deep, I mean he’s been abused by Amber Heard and yet he’s being treated like the abuser. If anyone needs to be denounced, it’s Amber Heard

Now consider the fact that man is fucking Johnny Depp, a famous movie star probably richer than most men in the world and it'll dawn on you why feminists are a dangerous bunch. How many men have most likely gone through the same hell as Depp, yet we never heard from them.

[–]corpseflower 37 points38 points39 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Personal experience time:

I was trapped in an abusive relationship with a woman who knew her status in society full well. She would hit me with objects and improvised weapons when I couldn’t get away. I once threatened to call the police, and she fucking smirked and said ‘go ahead. We both know who would go to jail’.

Needless to say, I was not the abusive one in this relationship. She had what I later learned was borderline personality syndrome, and was untreated (except with illicit drugs)

[–]General-Ad9818 15 points16 points17 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Hey there, I’m sorry that happened to you, that must’ve been tough. I hope your doing okay now and getting help

[–]corpseflower 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I’m doing okay man. Thanks for your concern, though. After that horror, I basically took a vow of celibacy. I realized there is no help for men if they are in trouble, and NO relationship is worth the risk of that KIND of situation again; I don’t care HOW good the sex is.

11 years and counting.

[–]General-Ad9818 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No problem, I hope you have a blessed day 😊

[–]airfox3522 10 points11 points12 points 4 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

Dude, you need to video her abusive behavior towards you and show it to the police when they come to arrest you. In 2014, an ex-army ranger attached GoPro to his waist and filmed his ex assaulting him in the groin, and she said" call the police, I will just tell them you assaulted me". It's because the video, the bitch got arrested. I don't know if she ever got prison time for it . Here is the link if you are interested: https://pix11.com/news/soldier-uses-gopro-to-prove-wifes-domestic-abuse-police/amp/

Here is the video: https://youtu.be/lwoiRnw0hj4

[–]corpseflower 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Don’t worry this was 11 years ago. Although the video idea is a good one if I ever decide to date again.

[–]Parking-Elephant-885 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

In one case of a woman murdering a man, the child gave the proof to the police but cases where the child gives the proof to police is rare and not so easy to find online.

[–]aknabi 11 points12 points13 points 4 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Yup… and compared to him our lives are far more destroyed as we don’t have his level of assets and status… but remember for women we’ve been used up, resources stripped so are just like shrimp shells to be discarded.

She screwed him over. Pushed him to the point where he probably smacked her.

Amber and her friend(s) made it look like he was the "Total evil villain".

Lied and lied in court to get money and defame him.

The so called feminists joined in the bandwagon and are attacking him.

[–]Capable_Dark 31 points32 points33 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

nope. she physically abused him. this is proven

[–]airfox3522 11 points12 points13 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That's what many of those feminists would say to defend Amber Heard's abusive behavior towards Depp.

[–]WingsofSky 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's all about power and money.

[–]Angryasfk 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Not “so called” I’m afraid. They’re keeping to their motto of “believe all women”. Turd wrote this big op Ed of how abused she was, and what a violent meanie Depp is, no doubt to gain sympathy and publicity. That’s enough for most feminists apparently as you must “believe all women”!

[–]ThrowawayGhostGuy1 90 points91 points92 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Feminists are abuse apologists. What else is new?

[–]TheNameIsFlair 56 points57 points58 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

These are the same people that’ll be first to watch Aquaman 2 to support the real abuser

[–]MikeHaughk 22 points23 points24 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

They still didn’t manage to get her off the cast?? dafuqqqq

[–]WolfShaman 31 points32 points33 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

One of the producers(?) said that they won't cave in to public pressure. They will do what's best for the film, and what's best (in their opinion) is keeping Amber in it.

It really sucks, cause my wife wants to support the other actors in AM2, but won't because of her. We also won't watch The Stand, even though we really want to, because she's in it.

[–]YouCantHelpMeButThx 10 points11 points12 points 4 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link

Nah, she was replaced with Emilia Clarke. You can already find footage of her on set with Jason Momoa.

Edit: Sorry, I am totally incorrect. Unfortunately, nothing has been announced in regards to Heard being replaced. My mistake.

[–]Farseer_Uthiliesh 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

You can already find footage of her on set

Could you share it, then? Not having a go at you, as I am genuinely curious.

[–]YouCantHelpMeButThx 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Welp, I'm really glad you asked for the source, because now that I'm looking for it I'm finding that I'm actually wrong :(

I saw footage of Emilia and Jason together and the article said that she was replacing Amber, but I guess that was just fake news...

Now all I can find is fan petitions and photoshopped images!

My bad y'all, I saw the fake news and was happy about it, so I didn't fact check it. Apologies.

[–]Farseer_Uthiliesh 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Oh damn, you had my hopes up. Thanks for clarifying, anyway.

[–]Angryasfk 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The same sorts were only too happy to ban Kevin Spacey. Not that I’m defending him. They had no problem getting Rosanne put off either. I suspect it’s part of the patriarchy ongoing reaction to “Metoo”! They’re desperate to show how they’re “standing up” for “female victims”!!

I love the way they act as if AM2 is some sort of “high art” too. They’re only making it because they think the public will watch it! Who do they think they’re kidding?

[–]Diligent-Education64 94 points95 points96 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

They want any man accused by a woman to be exiled from society across the globe. Never to be forgiven. They are making examples.

If you criticize feminists they will make the rest of your life a living hell.

You go Johnny, at least this guy has a spine. Honestly, at this point he has no choice. I wish him luck. Let's see who's system is more simp, the UK or the US.

[–]heyyy-kiddo 9 points10 points11 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Both are ruled by custom law(not like French law) so both proceedings will be highly biased by public opinion and feminists have nearly absolute powere there since they are loud af and private companies love them(yey...they can make them buy more crap so i guess feminism sells for them).

[–]Angryasfk 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Defamation isn’t quite common law, it’s civil law, and much more ruled by legislation.

I would think Depp is more likely to win in the US, not because US courts are better, but because he’s suing Heard herself. She wasn’t part of the UK case, which was against newspapers (well The Sun) publishing her claims! The fact she’s an abuser isn’t enough to rule in his favour, if the paper put in enough disclaimers and weasel words. But her being a admitted abuser is surely relevant to a case against her!

[–]Rambo1stBlood 28 points29 points30 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

I guess they arent following the story? She was the abuser.

The missing digits werent just that 7 million, she chopped the dudes hand up.

[–]bigdaddypimpilicious 14 points15 points16 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

They actually are following. They just support women no matter what and hate men.

[–]Angryasfk 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That’s about the size of it. And then they get upset with people thinking they hate men!

[–]McFeely_Smackup[S] 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

[–]Rambo1stBlood 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]Angryasfk 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ahhh, but she’s a woman. Women aren’t abusers. Didn’t you see Cassie Jaye’s interview with Katherine Spillar? Domestic violence is really just wife beating! Women never, ever, assault their male SO’s apparently. And they only do so in self defence in these non-existing cases where they do. And if it isn’t self defence, in these cases that don’t really happen anyway, she’s doubtless got good reason anyway. Besides what about historical oppression, the rule of thumb and all that!!!!

[–]thestrucguyYT 24 points25 points26 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Off course, they side with women.

A few months ago, I came home and was trying to park my car in the garage using the alley way. I heard some screaming as I was going up the stairs. It continued for a while and eventually I went down and saw a women screaming at her bf seemingly because SHE CHEATED ON HIM and she was blaming him. Eventually, my neighbor call 911 and specifically told my neighbor that the gf is the one abusing the bf not the other way around. The cops came and calmed the situation. I don't know what happened after that. Anyway, women abusing men is more common then people think especially mental and emotional abuse. Physical wounds get treated easily usually but not emotional ones.

Fuck anyone who doesn't side with Johnny Depp on this.

[–]EgalitarianFacts 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

How the fuck do people still believe that he was the abuser???

[–]MadPooter 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

I had this same reaction reading comments in the /r/movies sub.

Despite the incontrovertible evidence that Amber Heard abused Johnny Depp to the point where he required hospitalization, people either don't believe it or assume that Depp also abused her. And if they assume they both were abusers than the story becomes that it's only the male being abusive that matters.

Worse, people also took the "that's a personal situation and none of my business."

[–]MotherAce 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

haven't been to court at all. The british courtdates was just about slanderous remarks in their shit newspapers. Depp lost, since freedom of press kinda hard obstacle to overcome even thou they called him a 'wifebeater' without much merit. Judge more or less favored with Heard on her testimony alone, and dismissed Depp, and all the witnesses he had on testimony alone. Complete and utter B*S.

Then again, it's common knowledge that the British press is awful human pieces of garbage, so it wasn't ever gonna matter much

[–]Angryasfk 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

He wasn’t found guilty. He wasn’t able to win his defamation case against some tabloids. It was not a trial of him as an abuser, or Heard (who actually had no part of the case).

I haven’t read the decision, but since the case was defamation by newspapers it didn’t concern Heard at all other than the fact the papers published her claims. The court was not determining if Heard herself was an abuser. If Depp hit her in self defence, and a paper published her claim that he hit her, then they’re “substantially telling the truth” aren’t they!

However feminists are twisting this case to claim it refutes the claims she’s an abuser (even though it’s from her lips! I guess you don’t “believe women” in that case do you!). I’ve seen the ring fencing of both Heard’s and Depp’s Wikipedia pages by the same person, who’s committed to keeping this OFF the site.

It's about time men started asking every one of their connections, in media and government, to start giving due process precedence over feelings. All men know someone who can influence someone else.

Men normally don't talk about men's rights. They have to appear to be self assured and in control. Now is the time to speak up!!

We speak up or we become slaves. Whining AFTER that won't make a difference! Speak up now.

And moderators I cannot start a new topic. Is this deliberate or a glitch?

[–]InAJam_SoS 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is family court. The only court where no proof is needed and any proof to refute false claims is ignored. The judges, Family Court attorneys, everyone is in on it. The father (mostly) will loose all civil rights and it's all legal in a 50+ billion industry created and supported by a lobbyist who are.......lawyers. Welcome to Capitalized Justice.

[–]Cyneburg8 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The film festival is standing by their decision and I think it's just one woman that said something. She obviously doesn't know what's been going on since 2019 with this situation.

[–]hillsofzomia 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This article seems to report though that amber's allegations were completely right. Like, legally he's guilty? I didn't know that

[–]Angryasfk 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They’ve confused the outcome of a defamation case in London. If Depp hit Heard in self defence, they haven’t defamed him by saying he hit her! Nor are they defaming him by repeating her claims so long as they say that she “alleges” that he did so. These papers have lawyers paid to vet these kinds of stories and put it in such terms that they can’t be successfully sued. There are exceptions of course, but so long as there’s enough truth, or that they’re only repeating another’s allegations.

What the case DOES NOT prove that Heard isn’t an abuser. She was not part of the trial: it was about a story in a newspaper rather than her pretence that she’s a “victim”! There is, however, a trial where she is the respondent, and that one will be interesting given the evidence that Depp can call upon!

[–]YourPillsAintWorkin 20 points21 points22 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

[–]Angryasfk 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So much of the edifice that feminists have built revolves around this “men are abusers” idea. It’s a massive part of how they recruit women to be feminists, and it DV responses are well funded institutions that feminists have virtually total over. Many of the laws and policies feminists have secured to favour women over men are also based on this idea. How would it be if it turns out that the most high profile case of DV today actually involved a FEMALE PERPETRATOR? Worse still, this perpetrator wrote an Op-Ed claiming to be this victim, doubtless to cash in on the whole “Metoo” craze , getting masses of publicity and misplaced sympathy to boost her career. To acknowledge that Heard is, in fact, an abuser would be for them to admit women sometimes lie about being abused if they think there’s something in it for them. They just cannot accept that!

[–]croatoan34 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Jesus they have their heads buried in the sand all the way to the shoulder. What a bunch of clowns.

[–]Angryasfk 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It would be pretty bad for their ideology if the most high profile case of DV turns out to have a FEMALE perpetrator! Especially since she wrote that Op Ed presenting herself as a victim - you have to believe all women remember. So they just double down, and block any attempts to put mention of that recording on Wikipedia, continue to campaign against Depp as the “real abuser” etc.
