Nobody talks about the "Womanosphere" and I doubt that any male journalist who did so would remain employed. Why's it OK to act as if all opinions expressed by men online are interchangeable?

Yeah, I'm not a fan of that term. It allows people to take the most misogynistic comments by a few red pillers and PUAs and pretend that MRAs and father's rights activists are guilty by association. Just looking at Wikipedia's manosphere page shows me so much conflation and misinformation that it's honestly a little mind-numbing.

I think the worst example is the way they insist that any transphobic feminist is a "TERF" and "not really a feminist". Being trans exclusionary has been the default for most of feminism's history because that particular kind of transphobia is rooted in the same androphobic prejudices peddled by mainstream feminists. TERFs are more representative of the people who call themselves "feminists" than incels or gamergaters are of those who take issue with feminists.

EDIT: I think it's even worse than you describe, u/czerdec. When their kind argues against us, we get lumped together into an entity called "manosphere", no further distinctions or recognition of individuality necessary, and it's usually coupled with their favorite insulting expletive, but when you try to politely discuss the prevailing tendencies in mainstream feminist thought, you get hit with the "various feminisms" malarkey that is used as a shield against making any kind of possible negative generalization.

This is an abuse of power.

MRAs gets a lot of alot a crap for things that Incels and MGTOW say but many MRAs do does not like these groups because we veiw them as sexist.

I agree that MRAs are not the same as redpillers and incels. Despite that, it is true that from an historical perspective, manosphere was a name the system of blogs about the issues of men gave themselves. It is also true that redpill philosophy was, from a historical perspective, a consecquence of the conversations between Pickup Artists and Men's Rights activists in the context of the early internet of the blogosphere (therefore the name). The consideration that men were oppressed by women, together with the techniques of Pickup Artists to become "alphas" is what lead to theories such as Hypergamy and AF/BB around 2002-2003. Simultaneously, MGTOW was created as an answer to that. A few years later, incels responded to redpill philosophy creating the black philosophy (what we consider incels nowadays).
