One of many examples of the P-pass in action. Society is gynocentric after all so this should come as no surprise.
Second the point about this relating to why there are fewer women in prison. Women are less likely to be sent to prison for the same crime and on average receive shorter sentences when incarcerated. Consider a notable feminist who participated in the kidnapping rape and torturing to death of a man is now out giving motivational speeches to feminist groups. A man who did that would have been executed or in prison for life.

A few interesting observations about the event and the article.

Neither the police or the article identify this as domestic violence. A zero tolerance of DV, and the communities concern over the ongoing violence in relationships, should have been takenn nto account when sentencing. But instead this is identified a "knife crime". The unwillingness of the courts and the police to identify female perpetrtors of DV demonstrates the sexist bias if UK justice.

Stone was arrested at the scene and pleaded guilty to a charge of grievous bodily harm with intent, but not attempted murder. Stone followed her victim as he attempted to escape and stabbed him in the head with massive force. But the police and the court excused her vicious intent to kill her victim, assuming she didn't intend to kill, because of her sex.

I remember the case of a woman in New Zealand who murdered her husband and she got 18 months home detention. Meanwhile, our government has just passed legislation that would imprison anyone who refuses to affirm someone's gender identity to 3 years in prison.

Gynocentrism in society doesn’t want any woman in prison, period. Regardless of their crime. There is always sympathy for female criminals, even those who committed terrible crimes. You’ll always see articles and celebrity campaigns for women in prison.

People always say there’s much more men in prisons like that means women are inherently good. But that’s because women don’t get sentenced to prison.

My father was thought that "Women are born nice & Men are born evil" by his mother. So naturally when my father starts his family, my sister never gotten any discipline for her wrong behaviour and my brothers and I always get punished for being "evil".

Because of this, my sister became the worst person I've ever seen and always caused problems to my family that made my father broke down in tears because he couldn't control her anymore.

Moral of the story here is, discipline bring joy to the family and it is sufficient to say the women who stabbed her boyfriend has zero discipline from her parents. Discipline your kids people, it will give you blessings in life

But okay just eh.... what if in this case the penalty was right 🤷‍♂️ like we don’t know the fuck she pulled the knife for. What if he did something first to provoke? Ofc stabbing someone in the face is not being the right or legal thing to do, for which she got punished. But why is THIS an example of gender injustice within the system? Like guys yes y’all are right things are wrong, but not every female centered case is wrong by definition. Saying such things would only water down the real arguments and examples, piling them up as “yet another complaint”.

Also the legal professional being happy with the sentence says it all. Like the law is set and made to treat most everyone equally. You can’t have all cases fluctuate in sentencing, so that one would be treated less equal than another. Apparently 3 years is what the law says, which has nothing to do with modern gender inequalities. As for the professional who studied for this shit being happy with it.

Sure the law itself isn’t bulletproof but is pretty much based on the most just and moral considerations. Also it takes a lot of time to change it, since a single adjustment needs a lot of research and approval from different parties before it can be approved. Only, again, to make it as fair as possible.

On a side note I beg to question the effectiveness of prisons in general. Like we really want every person who just fucks up once to rot in prison? Like sure a knife to the face is a big fuck up. But what are we trying to achieve with prison penalties anyways? Like do we want to rehabilitate our prisoners, or just punish them? Because for either both of these the efficacy of prison sentencing is widely doubted.

Just punishing this one woman to fit all the punishments men have received throughout time ain’t gonna change shit imo
