You probably shouldn't call someone a loser, in general. But then maybe sometimes you should.

But I disagree with the premise here. Calling someone a "loser" isn't inherently sexist. I'm not sure how this is particularly relevant to detox.

Agreed, and will be more mindful because these guys need both therapy and support to get out of the red pill cult.

It's a really disturbing ideology and its supporters are determined to continue spreading it, but lots of men want to get out but probably can't find good support and resources, right now.

Show your work, this sounds like a typical strawman. Have you tried seeking out intersectional feminist circles, or did you just spend some time on tumblr and go "nope, not for me".

Spaces matter, and online spaces matter too. If a see an MRA or redpiller on Twitter that has a history of harassing women online, I may make fun of his shitty ideology and don't consider him a victim, even if I understand -thanks to feminism- that society also places upon him an impossible standard of masculinity that he constantly tries to reach (and this desire of masculinity makes him prone to bring recruited into cult-like organisation and spaces such us what you'll encounter in the manosphere).

But if that same person comes to this sub on good faith, I will take the time an effort to write a detailed reply because I think it's important. In this post I'd tell him that even if he is a "victim" of patriarchal roles, this doesn't mean that he is not also responsible of being an agressor towards women, and that true healing comes from understanding this and by trying to make a difference, NOT from forgiveness of others or from forgiveness of previous victims.

I have some of this indignation you’re expressing as well. I’d consider myself a feminist as well, but it does drive me nuts when feminists who constantly rail against the patriarchy make fun of men for not living up to what the patriarchy expects of them. Or when they’re only attracted to men who benefit from the patriarchy the most. I understand you can’t help what you’re attracted to but the lack of self awareness is annoying

I think anyone that values thinking for themselves over thinking as a group deserves respect. But I am sure this ruffled a few feathers on the internet. ;)

I've seen some debate on this on this sub. From my experience "pussy and loser" are leveraged against men predominantly. And even if they were used against women their meaning would differ.

I.e. "bitch" used against women refers to a perceived attitude problem, say, whereas "bitch" against a men refers to a lack of perceived masculinity in the eye of the observer.

Its meaning is closer to that of "pussy", a perceived incapability of stepping up to what the observer considers to be masculine.

The word may stay the same, but the insult acknowledges the difference in context and meaning.

So to me to debate if they're leveraged against which sex isn't as meaningful as how their meaning, which I would say is gendered. It's merely the word that stays the same, everything else changes.

For the most part I agree. Ideology begets ideology. Nonetheless, as with every generation lots of people will come out of it reasonably intact and you won't hear from them.
