This is the pillow he got her for when she sleeps over on his floor nest of clothes- isn't it romantic that he"s making room for her in his life!!!!!... Don't worry- they're all clean clothes... Clean from 4 months ago.... And don't worry we can eat chips in bed bc it's romantic and crumbs aren't real and they disappearing the crumpled clothes anyway.... And don't worry, he still wears these clothes so he isn't wasteful or anything

The couch is a beanbag he found by the garbage for 🌈 sustainability 🌈

Young 20s, I lived with my first husband, the ace/aro cop, and convinced myself I loved him and he loved me. Looking back, I was in full pickme mode, and he never even got me a pillow. I mean, he did give me quite a few really good Christmas gifts that I still have: an El Cid sword, plus a VERY good replica Viking dagger in a nice presentation case. I still have those, and love them. But honestly, I can't remember anything else, but it was the 90s, so I've slept since then.

What really woke me up was how he always insisted it was HIS house, never our house. But it wasn't his house; he rented, and he shot down every thought of trying to move, because it was such a "deal" on rent. We had to put in two window AC units, and the house had no heat. One winter, I had bronchitis/pneumonia. "Just put on more layers" MY ASS.

He really wanted a forever girlfriend; I pushed for marriage. The "proposal" was offhand, a joke, and felt very shitty. I moved in with him not just out of "love" but also to prove my own independence. Just don't ever live with a man without a solid, firm commitment, engagement, and plans to move OUT of a bachelor pad into a real home ASAP. So many lessons learned.
