I work with one. Dude is happily married and has a baby (of course). He's polite, hardworking, unassuming, friendly and helpful to everyone and I don't know anyone at work who doesn't straight up adore him. Obviously, he's off the market, but it's nice to get a daily reminder that men like him exist.

Reminded me of Steve Irwin and Terri Irwin. Their both are two very complete people that weren't looking for love when they meet, but found it in each other anyway. Steve may not be your kind of HVM, but he is the perfect HVM for Terri - I don't think Terri can fall in love with the typical office worker HVM that don't share her deep passion of protecting wild animals.

That's why FDS insist so much on you becoming a HVW first and when the time comes, allow the right HVM to enter your life. Doesn't mean that you can't enjoy going out meeting men and going to dates - but don't burden yourself with them.

Many women are desperate about the wall, the biological clock, the society's talking and all that they desperately tie themselves to the first guy they meet - that's what FDS don't want.

FDS wants you to prioritize yourself, only choose to allow things that make you happy, leave anything else at the trashcan, don't suffer men. Only allow dates that are fun and fulfill you in every aspect, and if things don't work out, move on. And no, him taking you out on dates doesn't mean he own you and you gave to be exclusive to him.

You are single until he put a ring on it ladies.

Yes, they really do exist. Someone who's brought up right, treats everyone nicely.

After all the bs I had to went through after breaking up with my ex and having a series of meh/bs dates, I'm so glad I found my current partner.

He is truly compassionate (on many occasions he has helped out strangers), is respectful to everyone.

I just knew he's the one when we went to a cat cafe and a cat just walked over and sat on his lap randomly. I think animals can really sense if a guy is good.

My question is how do we know when we've found a HVM vs just being infatuated and THINKING he's a HVM? I'm sure a lot of people have ended up with men they thought were HVM only to realise down the line that they arent.

Also how do you know if he's just faking being Mr Perfect? We've all heard of seemingly perfect men with dark secrets. You just never know with people. I think maybe stick to cats instead 😅😍

I met one a few weeks ago. Not my type, but he’s genuinely a nice person. He reminds me of a male friend I had in high school, he was kind, polite, not the type to sexualize women, a bit shy etc. and who is, to this day, in love with the girl he started dating in high school. I was the matchmaker. He’s matured now, he got his diploma, he spoils her, takes her to fancy restaurants, trips in Europe, etc. I never saw him like any other woman’s picture, he’s surrounded by high-value male friends, etc. Honestly there are good men out there but they are a rarity, it’s a shame.

Oh absolutely I am fine alone, I wouldn’t invite someone into my life who doesn’t add value. I used to try to settle because I needed someone to split the rent (disabled in an accident yrs ago-disability payments aren’t huge) but now that I can handle rent myself they have to be worth the trouble.

There’s nothing more attractive than seeing someone with a warm, open heart connecting on a pure level with another person. It’s rare to see it, but when I do, I love it.

I think I may have met one of those, too. He may be even too nice for his own good (in all the good ways). He's gay, though. *shrugs*
