It needs to go beyond online dating, in general women need to stand together and stop being pickmes who offer free prostitution to men. I said it. That means stop going to bars/clubs/events and sleeping with a man you just met 2 hours ago. Stop sending nudes. Stop accepting low effort dates. Stop giving broke /ugly/unhygienic/unemployed/cheating men "a chance".

The problem is that pickmes enable LVM by agreeing to do casual sex. And then Stay around for situationships.

If we all stopped engaging in hookup culture, lvms would have to be alone or raise the bar to get a girlfriend.

This is especially relevant because some states are making it harder to get abortions, and even so the burden of birth control still largely falls on women to get an IUD/PILLS/supply and convince him to use a condom. It's the woman that has to go out and get plan b is she's worried she got stealthed- you better hope that pharmacy or Walmart has it and you have to get there while they're still open! Oh and it's around $50. Yeah the burden is on women to be responsible, keep up with it, and pay for it... so stop giving men casual sex.

Deleted mine yesterday. I was using it because I just moved to a new city and wanted to meet people. But after many a lacklustre interaction, I lost it yesterday when a scrote, that I wasn't too keen on, messaged me and asked if I had 'given up and moved back home'. Blocked, deleted everything. Feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Bought myself something nice and have had distraction free work week.

I ditched OLD in 2015 when I worked out quickly that it was full of men too cheap to pay for a sex worker.

I downloaded Bumble in 2021 briefly to test my vetting skills and I couldn't believe how much the quality of men had dropped. It looked like they were all residents of our cities homeless shelter.

Every man I chatted to cancelled himself within a couple of sentences. There was absolutely no challenge to vetting them, they freely gave me information to block and delete.

I deleted in disgust and will never go back. Wherever HVM are, it isn't on OLD.

Absolutely. I would never go on OLD again. Men are thinking at the tap of a button they can get a free Uber prostitute. Men used to have to put a ring on your finger first. Of course I won't romanticise those times because it was awful for women in other ways. Also I don't need to go on OLD because I get chatted up at least once a week with the area I live in.

After my break-ip from my abusive nv ex, I did not think i would ever reach the point where I would say i'd rather be single forever than compromise constantly. But I learned and grew. If a partner isn't making my life better and easier, there's no reason to be in a relationship. Similar to how this one famous tumblr post once said: if you see a woman with a cat but without a man at her side she did the math, and a furry animal who shits in a box and a vibrator scored higher than the man.

I have friends i treasure, and i am more than able to pleasure and pamper myself.

One of the secrets to a good relationship is not needing a partner. Only if you don't need them, but want them in your life because they add something worthwhile to it, they are there for the right reasons.

I actually hate bumble because it’s so much to put myself out there, text first, (“Women make the first move!”) like. I don’t want to make the first move.

Men do this thing where they believe that it’s “just a game of numbers” and that if they swipe on everybody eventually, they’ll get a match they think is hot and she’ll text them and then they’ll date. But what’s SO unfair about this is that there is some girl out there that thought you actually liked her! And now, because you have to make the first move, it’s extra rejection when he doesn’t text back. It’s like woah! I thought you liked me? With all the effort I’ve now gone through to swipe and reach out first, it hurts an extra lot.
