[in infants or children, the foreskin is generally fused to the glans, keeping the area sanitary. Most males become retractable by 10 1/2 years old. Some are older; and that is fine too. Once retractable, all the male need do is pull back the foreskin, rinse off with clean water during his normal shower or bath and pull the foreskin back down. All gently of course. Takes seconds.]

Both of the above books are medical textbooks, used to train doctors, nurses, clinicians etc who work in ERs (A&Es), providing emergency medical care to infant / child patients. If you wish to view the books yourself, you may find them in university libraries or university bookshops.

I feel you man/woman. Yes it is insane. Cutting of a peace of a person's body which shouldn't come off without scalpel, without age consent, even without asking a question how that will impact the person in future. That's sick. We're living in a sick and insane society. I'd never do something like that to my son.

I swear it pisses me off. When I try to explain to people what’s wrong with it they think I’m crazy. Like sorry. But my first boy wasn’t snipped (he passed but he wasn’t snipped) and neither will this one. If he chooses to get snipped in the future I’ll fucking pay for it. But it will be his choice.

I get tired of this stupid argument. There is plenty of scientific support for circumcision as a safe procedure. It’s not necessary, but it doesn’t cause harm. And it has some medical benefits. Just give this subject a rest please. And I’ve read all the studies so don’t bother. I’ve heard all the arguments so don’t bother. I was against it at one point but now I favor it slightly/ am mostly indifferent. Stop with the histrionics about mutilation, it’s nonsense. It doesn’t affect sexual functioning.
I won’t respond, so post all you want to. I simply want men who are confused to hear the other side.

On a scientific perspective, it is healthy. Simple as.
It is a physical covenant with God (and I ain't even Jewish).

Stop having a problem with circumcision and/or don't compare it to female genital mutilation, they are not the same.
