There was a story a couple of years ago about a scrote who threw gasoline on a fire causing his wife to catch on fire. Then he left her because he couldn’t handle her injuries and denied he was to blame for her getting burned, even though it was his dumbass that threw the gasoline. How low can males go? Really, really, really low and their getting worse somehow.

My sister's husband is a bumbling LVM, he's wrecked every car he's ever owned, probably because he does not treat or manage his ADHD and gets distracted while driving (I also have ADHD and in my early 20s pre-diagnosis once drifted onto the gravel shoulder and spun-out for this reason. I take extra care to manage my attention while driving since it's SO dangerous). In one of these wrecks my sister was in the passenger seat and she now has permanent knee pain because of his incompetence. He also recently shattered his elbow by wandering through a construction site and now she's had to be a caretaker to him. They are in their mid-20s!! It hurts how she's saddled herself to this absolute Homer Simpson who makes her life more difficult and even dangerous on a daily basis. No man is FAR better than a LV or NV man!!

Yep, faced the prospect of being in the zone of not just one or two but THREE natural disasters at the same time all because of his ignorance. We nearly died and there were high death tolls in a neighbouring region (spared by geography).

One of my LVM ex's almost lit our apartment on fire. I was in my Barb the Builder phase, my boyfriend was "nice enough", paid the rent, but that was it. I was going to school at the time, he was working evenings. He comes home, 11pm as usual, and asks me what's for supper. I told him figure it out, I have a big test in the morning that I'm studying for. He looked at my incredulously, as if I had spit in his face. So unbeknownst to me, he threw some from Jalapeño Poppers, you know the ones that come in a plastic bag? Well I wouldn't believe it if it hadn't happened to me, he threw the poppers in, bag and all into the oven and turned it on. Didn't read the directions just thought I'll turn the oven on and it'll do the rest. He was a mama's boy to the max. So he goes and showers, and I'm sitting at my computer reading my nursing text book. Then I see the top of my screen is foggy, and I'm like WTF? And then I turn to see billowing flames coming out the top of the oven through the cookers and smoke seeping through the door. I scream at him to get out the shower, he does, starts freaking out "WHAT DO WE DO?!". I told him to get the cats (I had two at the time) get them in their carriers and head to the car. Well another fun part of the story is I told him, if ever there's a emergency the girls carriers are in the bottom left of our shared closet. I told him 3 separate times. What does this scrote ask me? "WHERE ARE THEY?". So here I am, 911 on the line, chasing after my damn cats, getting the carriers out, and I have a big nursing school test in the morning. We got out safe, thanks to me, with a destroyed oven, and some minor smoke inhalation. I had to clean up after the fire extinguishers were used to put the flames out. He got to go sleep in his bed at MAMA's. Never. Be. A barb. NEVER. You could die. Literally.

I read a book in the ninth grade about about a pregnant woman somewhere in the Middle East (I forgot the exact country) who had acid thrown on her (if I remember correctly, it was her uncle) and was burned from head to toe. Her uncle attacked her because she had sexual relations as an unmarried woman. Luckily, A group of peasant women were close by and put her body in water to sooth the stings and she amazingly ended up surviving. She described the incredibly gruesome events with such ease, as if she was no longer attached to the pain inflicted on her. I will never forget the impact her story had on me at such a young age.

This is why I just shake my heads whenever I read about researchers developing male birth control. Men cannot even wipe their asses properly...I certainly don't trust the majority of them to take a pill every day at the same time.

After experiencing a relationship with a careless man, there is nothing that disgusts me more. I was put in so many dangerous situations because of his thoughtlessness. I’m deeply grateful that I was able to survive my naive days relatively physical unscathed.

Now, first and foremost, I’m looking for a conscientious man. Someone who will never play fast and loose with my or his children’s lives.

I neighbor of mine got pregnant at 16 or 17 (still in high school). Broke up with the dude. Met another dude and had a baby with him a few years later. They moved in together. He held the baby out the window of their high rise apartment (fortunately the baby was ok) and after she left him, he threw perfume or something on her face and lit her on fire while she was walking their daughter. Broad daylight on the street in public. She has scars on her face and neck. She went on to have a third baby with a third man who ended up in jail. She’s in her late 20’s now and still living with her parents.

Men are dangerous when they feel rejected.

So true. Too many women have been killed or seriously injured in car and motorcycle accidents from men being over-confident and putting everyone’s lives at risk.

I feel called out here, also i DO NOT recommend finding a Life Long partber this way. I was absolutely not in my right mind but basically I married a LvM. My self esteem was shot for a number of reasons I won't get into. Anyway, I remember when I was with my Husband in the beginning and I was telling him my back was sore, and he and I brushed it off like maybe I pulled it no big deal. But it wasn't getting any better like at all and I started to get fever, and confused, I was really sick. Finally I told him I need to go to the Dr like I'm to weak to even move when I got checked at the Dr's I had a kidney infection and was told I was about 3 days off from sepsis. My bf (now husband) at the time nearly killed me with his ignorance and lack of proper medical training. I stayed with him (groan I knnoow) but he has done a 180 from the person that I first met to now. I do regret how I let him treat me, I regret how submissive I was to the situation, I regret how poorly I thought of myself that someone putting me in hospital or possibly killing me was acceptable, but I regress.

I did end up marrying him (STUPID) but I did. And I have since come back into myself and found myself again and he has only encouraged my growth. My healing, our healing, and making a home with me. I could go on and on about all the things he does now, but there's no point. We both agree tho that the bar for men is in hell for men, and it's wrong on so many levels. I'm just thankful my husband grew as a person, as a human, and as a partner many women are not nearly as lucky.
