There’s a guy on campus who I find attractive. We’ve had some nice conversations but I feel that we can have more in-depth conversations. We mostly see each other at intimate gatherings and talk there. When we see each other in person (not at a gathering) we speak briefly because we are always in a transitional period (I am going to class heading somewhere, etc., he’s waiting for a class to start, etc.) A close friend of mine says he’s recognized a natural chemistry between us.

In those conversations, he has shown playfulness and also has said some flirtatious things. We even have a cute banter situation where I know a juicy detail about him and playfully tease him about it and he is still trying to figure one out about me. I tell him to ask me anything he wants to know (because I myself can’t think of anything “juicy” per say) and I see him having to think hard. At our recent meet up, the same friend who recognized our chemistry, I called him over and asked “Any juicy detail about me?”and he said great qualities (confidence in myself, not afraid to say what’s on my mind) I have and pretty much said he couldn’t think of anything. So I turned back to the guy (after my friend left) and asked “Any questions?” He goes “I think I know everything I need to know”. Like he was making mental notes about what my friend has said etc. However, he hasn’t been pursuing. So now I feel like maybe he wasn’t flirting or that there wasn’t any attraction to begin with. I don’t like when I feel unsure or uncertain towards this.

What do you ladies think? Is this someone who is shy? Is there an attraction? Or he’s just playing around?

Is there more flirting I need to do on my end to see clarity?

Tell me what you think!
