I have a side gig working at a province-run liquor store. We also sell cannabis products inside the store, but in a separate "hidden" area (I worked in this area today). A 30-something-year-old man comes in with his 5-year-old daughter. He left her outside this "hidden area" and when I immediately told him it's illegal to leave minors unattended in the alcohol section of the store (also illegal to have them inside the cannabis section), it took him less than 10 seconds before he started to insult me.

He asked me if I had children, he told me that I was an idiot. He asked me if I even had a brain. He demanded to show him the exact law and how stupid I was for not using my brain.

He is saying all of this to me in front of his daughter btw. I kept saying "okay - yep - okay - uh-huh" and he only got more annoyed. After verbally abusing me in front of his daughter, he stormed out.

He didn't get to buy his weed.
