How do you explain the evolution of culture from patriarchal barbarism to what we have now (women can vote, get jobs, hold positions of power etc etc) if men loathe women?

Correct but only in the technical sense mainly due to modern counterculture, in its haste is dismantling the patriarchy, has allowed the misogynists to dictate what it means to be a man. Thus misogyny has become a core element of modern masculinity.

And the best part is all the contempt and distain supposedly aimed back at these modern men usually gets redirected at inoffensive LVMs due to preconceived notions and whatnot.
