Fear of this, I believe, is one reason marriage is down, many of us never take the first step because they can be accused of being creepy or flat out get in trouble for stalking.

I've seen quite a few texts from women who lament that men aren't asking them out.

I've seen others online be unhappy because they said no but the man didn't keep trying. She wanted him to try harder.

I bet in each case though, the man in question was really hot. Really popular and really buff. The same woman would probably consider another man who is average to be creepy if he kept trying.

We are expected to be able to read minds, and accept the consequences if we fail.

My wife was taken away by the police for trying to stab me, (after a long abusive relationship). I was left with 3 kids that wanted nothing to do with her, she wasn't allowed back to the family home.

When things went to court, she threw so much shit.

This is why I would just stay quiet and move on like JD planned on doing initially. People will likely take her word over it unless there is concrete evidence. If you have no evidence then it’s not worth the risk for men.

I’m having PTSD flashbacks watching this Amber Heard stuff. Even a year after being arrested due to a false allegation of assault (dropped due to lack of evidence) I had to contend with being labeled a domestic abuser by my ex wife and losing a huge swath of friends, my kids, my house. She posted all over social media about being a “survivor” and the “shadow pandemic”. She still feels like she can send me long texts berating me and saying she’d have a restraining order against me if we didn’t have kids. I never struck her or threatened her with physical harm. It’s all bullshit. But what can I do?

At the worst, we had fights. Sure, I said nasty things to her in the heat of argument, but she said some pretty horrible things to me, too. She would get the argument going only to record me as proof I was verbally abusive.

It’s horrible.

don't believe it's 100% false accusation - though the accusation Amber put out is not correct. don't think Johnny actually went about abusing her but he was so much into abusing himself some of his self-hatred rubbed off into distancing her. they both abused each other - but Johnny really was on a self-hating jag it seems - at least back then (2012-16?) not quite sure about now 2022

Justice? He owned an entire village in rural France and has an English butler who works in any house Depp decides to crash at in LA. He trashed hotel rooms with Kate Moss . Whatever Amber Heard is, Johnny Depp is no helpless victim. He’s an alcoholic who destroyed his face and speaks like an American expat in London. He chose her and they violated Australia’s quarantine rules to bring his tiny expensive dog with them on their private jet because “I’m J.Depp” then he tasted law that doesn’t look the other way because you’re famous and apologized like a POW at gunpoint. He’s suing her for defamation and he has endless wealth to do so. They’re both spoiled rich emotional toddlers acting out. She ruined a bed, he’s ruining her career. He even cut his fingertip off to make her look bad. They never should’ve been married but he’s no poor sucker not getting a fair shake. Suffering is not having a money for armies of lawyers to represent you no matter who you are.
