Hard pass. Pregnancy is an unbalanced burden to begin with, this would make it even more so.

We have to realize the magnitude of this advantage of not having to bear a living being around and not being the primary person responsible for it regardless of outcome.

Or to put it into simpler terms, the worst outcome for us is having to pay a monthly tax on stupid decisions, the worst outcome for her is a roulette of death due to complications, loss of fertility, unwanted children and single parenthood. It’s not a fair game, and I am not saying that to pander to any side of the spectrum - it’s just how our biology works.

If you are concerned with our reproductive rights, ai think it would be wiser to look into improving legislation in a way that would not bring more undue harm.

There was an article posted a year or so ago about a boyfriend who tried to give his pregnant girlfriend some drug to cause an abortion. She noticed and called the police. He was arrested and tried for attempted murder and received some prison sentence, don't remember the length. The interesting thing is that according to the article, the women later had an abortion.

So if the father kills the fetus it's murder, and if the mother does, it's her right and how dare anyone question it.

Seems to me that if it's murder when the father does it, then the fetus has some right to life and it's also murder when the mother kills the fetus. But the law is a strange and wondrous things that the mind of mere mortals cannot comprehend.

It would be hypocritical for people to demand pro-life states to have an exception for victims of rape and incest and not expect the same from pro-choice states.

The argument they use is the baby is innocent, but the blame for killing it falls on the rapist. We should do this to spare the victim added trauma. If true, why shouldn't a rapist be forced to undergo an abortion to spare trauma to their victim. Forced abortion is less than death and a rapist is more culpable than an innocent.

EDIT - to make things clearer sometimes women rape men or boys. That's what it's about.
