If you've been keeping up with the Heard/Depp trial, then you'll know Amber Heard is putting on an absolute clinic on how to be a dishonest, manipulative human being who has no empathy or regard for the people around her. Let's look at the facts:

  • Heard was recorded taunting Depp about coming forward with his experiences as a victim of domestic abuse, saying that nobody would believe him. Intuitively, men who are victims of domestic abuse are often laughed at and not taken seriously. At worst, your abuser might turn it around and accuse you of doing the very thing she is doing (Hmm, can anyone think of any examples?)
  • Heard is being investigated for perjury in the UK
  • The UK has much more stringent standards for libel than the US, so Depp losing the UK Sun trial means very little.
  • Heard lied about donating $7 million to charity
  • Depp is adored and beloved by his friends, family, and all those around him, along with previous women he was in relationships with. Amber Heard's lawyers don't even seem to like her
  • Heard has admitted to striking Depp numerous times
  • The makeup company Heard claimed to have a kit from has come out and verified that that specific kit was not even released during the time period she claimed to have it

Can anyone imagine if the roles were reversed? And yet, in spite of all of this, the mainstream media is making a mockery of themselves by defending Heard and/or painting Johnny Depp as the abuser. Is he perfect? No, clearly he has struggled with substance abuse and their marriage had major issues. But everything he has done absolutely pales in comparison to Heard's abuse. Despite that, he was the one who had his career derailed while she was paid to guest speak about domestic abuse. Ditto for women's spaces. It's a mix of some reasonable/objective takes and pure delusion (some going as far as to say they are shocked at the reaction of a woman speaking up against her accuser). Cardi B has been recorded admitting to drugging and robbing men and nobody cares about it, so this lack of accountability is quite commonplace. Fortunately, the public is having absolutely none of it. How does this relate to dating?

Modern day women, ones that are average and below in particular, do not get enough criticism for their absolutely delusional standards. They are all shooting for tall, handsome, successful men. Obesity in the US is so rampant because obese women call themselves "bbws" or "plus-sized" and proudly state that if a man doesn't like it he can get lost, instead of striving to improve themselves. If anyone dares criticize them (like Kevin Samuels) they are deemed as hateful. Regardless of how unreasonable a woman's standards are, they are met with "yass queen!" all around from other women. In addition to that, there are an alarming number of single women these days. In so many of these instances, women choose to have kids with a crappy deadbeat dad, end up single, and then expect that a "real man" will step up like prince charming and save the day to raise another man's kids. The "why are you blaming the woman?" retort is inevitable, so I'll answer it: deadbeat dads and cheaters are trash, but that doesn't absolve women from the responsibility either. Pregnancy carries risk for a woman and has a dramatic impact on her life. If you are going to carry a child for 9 months, toil through the challenges of pregnancy and give birth, you have to be extremely careful of who you choose to have kids with.
