Just like MGTOW, if the members were more men-concentrating instead of women-comparing, it would have helped guys more. In theory, it should have been a men helping men organization, but it often gets distracted too much by angry-at-women noises. Such a shame, but I realized that same problems often plagued women-focussed organizations/movements.

I support men helping men because when men are doing well and satisfied with themselves, they tend to leave women alone and privately enjoy their lives. The women are safe and unbothered, the men are happy and independent. Win win I'd say.

If you're looking for a sub that's actually about men (and not just raging misogyny), then r/MensLib is a good one. Been subbed there for a long time. Am a woman, and never had the feeling they're just hating on women, plus, they don't put men down either (which is something that happens on a lot of these "men's rights" subreddits, and it's arguably an even bigger problem than the misogyny, because it reinforces insecurity and self-hate, which then gets projected on women).

r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates is the best imo. It tackles men’s issues from a non/anti-reactionary lens unlike r/MensRights and doesn’t require you to uncritically pander to contemporary feminist ideology like r/Menslib does.

The mensRights subreddit is geared heavily towards hatred of women rather than sincere concerns for problems facing men. It's advertised as a men's group but is mostly filled with addictive rage point aimed at women.

I'm not a fan of menslib either. It's SIGNIFICANTLY better than mensRights however, I've noticed a lot of conversation in that sub tends to get purged to the point where it's essentially useless as a men's discussion or support group.

I have taken part in it a few times in the past. I think I find it rather disappointing.

There are so many issues that truly affect men, but they seem to lose perspective and are more focused on finding blame than on finding solutions, and assume men's issues can be fixed without changing men's attitudes.

Edit: Just like some parts of feminism, one of their biggest mistakes is forgetting that fixing gender issues need and imply changes for both genders. If we're gonna change the way woman relate to themselves and the way women and men relate to each other, a change in the way men relate to themselves is necessary and natural, and both sides seem to treat that as an afterthought.

It has a right wing bias to it and it seems like a male biased subreddit, that if any critique about them happens, they will ban you and you will get immediately downvoted.

It has gone downhill, and has attracted the misogynist incels.
