So I saw that the right to abortion has been abolished even if the mother’s life is in danger in North Carolina.

Now, the reason I ask what you all think about this is because I saw some posts on here that were ‘happy’ about Roe vs Wade being overturned because it meant that women and men were now equal (equal reproductive rights). Abortion first and foremost isn’t about choosing to be or not to be a parent, at it’s very basics it’s a medical procedure that is sometimes necessary to save the mother’s life.

For instance ectopic pregnancies, they happen relatively often but untreated they will kill both mother and baby. It’s also essential that the fetus is removed quick so having to travel to another state can literally kill the pregnant person.

Edit: proposed bill! Not yet approved.
