The funny thing is they talk about how prisons are stressful and do not addres mental health of women, as if men in prison don't have issues. Then it states that prisons are designed for cisgendersd men. Imagine having a prison specifically designed for a gender and then somehow trying to claim your the one being discriminated against. And finally they talk about how 80% of women are mothers but according to the following link, 92% of men in prison are fathers. Where is the attempt to reunite them with their kids? Where are the in prison father programs where children live with their dads? Women receive much shorter and lighter sentences for the same crimes when compared to men. Either we are jailing men too long because of an empathy gap, or we are jailing women not long enough because of the "women are wonderful" effect.

All incarceration rates are disproportionate to the rest of the world in America and it’s bullshit. An owner of a for-profit prison would lock up his own mom if it meant they’d make a quick buck. Get the money out of owning prisons and we’d see a drop in new people getting incarcerated regardless of gender or sex. And it’d be fine if these millionaire prison owners at least kept the lights on with their OWN money but instead those fucks use the never ending pot of gold in the form of our hard-earned taxpayer dollars.
