Since people be complaining about posts/threads full of overdone topic figures someone has to take a hit for the collective and post something more obscure.

Question is 2 part and simple: How much do you value "social legitimacy" and how much do you think "social legitimacy" influence people's behavior & choices (in terms of romance & dating, to keep this on topic)?

Of course, what is this social "social legitimacy"? It is the collective manifest of peer pressure. The unwritten but effectively codified set of behaviors, actions, and views that makes an individual a functioning member of the community/society/culture.

I suspect that most of the good folks of this subreddit aren't really pressured to adhere to this social legitimacy, as this subreddit is full of stunning and brave people who are exceptional, and thus do not care for the norms of the masses...
