For context, I'm an African-American, a demographic which has a lot of single mothers. And a large chunk of people who either didn't do well in life or are terrible people in life come from fatherless homes.

Teenage runaways and pregnancies, violent criminals, rapists with anger issues, people living in poverty, people with behavioral disorders, so on and so forth.

As a black man who had a dad in the house--which again, is uncommon--I want to know from the experiences of those who did not share my fate. For those of you who grew up in fatherless homes, what negative effects did it have on you? Feel free to share your full story if you like!
