My STBX left us, drove off and we heard from her just once a month for almost a year. Now she is back and started off by saying I kicked her out of the house and I'm abusing the kids. Filed an restraining order to get the kids back but it was denied. The judge at the hearing said we need to work out visitation, and so I'm doing my do diligence when she calls and says she is on the way over to pick the kids up. No! I say we do this through lawyers, but she is adamant that she can just come get them. She has her friend and they will just visit for a little while then she'll bring them back, promise promise. Eventually my lawyer calls hers and then she calls me back saying "Sorry for the misunderstanding. I'll be here and we can wait for the lawyers to set somthing up." I feel like her lawyer told her to do this, and was setting me up to either give her custody so she could leave with the kids, or to confront me and have her friend vouch for me threatening her so she could do the RO right this time. I called my lawyer first thing when this was going down but he was in court and didn't get back until the last second when STBXW said she was coming right over. Am I being played, hoping the STBX will get an RO against me, or is this STBX making crazies and the judge someday will see that?
